The room was clean and well appointed. Most importantly, as I was staying during a heatwave, the AC was effective and quiet. The small outside area did look an appealing place to relax, green and verdant, but perhaps in weather that was not so fierce!! I certainly hope to come back some time when the sun is a little more tolerant of European sensibilities!

Ayutthaya was an amazing experience - after visiting Thailand hundreds of times over 40 years - I finally made it there. It was tranquil, beautiful, romantic and incredibly interesting. Easy to get to from Bangkok by train - well worth considering!

Fantastic historical city, recommend taking morning river trip to various temples , accessible and cooler first thing. Also restaurants on the river bank for eating, use tuk tuk togetaround, they park right outside the hotel and know where to go quickly

We spent an evening and a morning here.
We spent an evening and a morning here. We arrived mid-pm direct from DMK Bangkok airport by train which took less than an hour and cost less than a pound. We went to a temple for sunset, visited a busy night market and had dinner by the river. Next am we drove around in a tuk tuk for 3 hours and visited nearly all the temples. Hot work but totally rewarding. I guess with more time we'd have done the museum as well although there's a lot of Ayutthaya to see in the National Museum in Bangkok.

Love his tory and ruins, then you will love this place.
Love his tory and ruins, then you will love this place. You can even dress up and get photo in traditional dress, or kick back in a local bar along one of the canals or go to the little floating market or the night market. Fun place, but lots of walking. Good value for money paid.

Great stay.
Great stay. We needed a few extra days to get around due to an elderly traveller however would recommend 2-3 days here, and a mix of night time and day visits to the temples. This is true old school Thailand, friendly, laidback and local pricing away from awful advantages tourism (sex, drugs, fire twirling)

The historical sites are interesting, and there are a variety of ways to see them. Tuk Tuks are plentiful and most drivers speak some English. If you want to hire a tuk tuk driver to take you to see various sites, the rates is 300 baht per hour. You can also visit l the sites individually and get a tuk tuk for about 100 baht. There is also the option of walking. Several sites are in close proximity and are easily walked or bikes can be rented, if you prefer. There is also a nice boat roar that will take you to various sites along the river for 200 baht per person. The boat trip lasts for a couple of hours.

The location was perfect - walking distance to the temples in the historical park, and central for cycling to others around the city. the accommodation is tucked away from the main road - the quietest place I stayed in Thailand - and there’s a beautiful big terrace next to the river. the accommodation and the little cafe are very modern and clean - luxurious overhead showers and spacious rooms. this was my favourite place to stay in Thailand so far.
Perfect location for the night market and exploring the ruins. They’re literally just down the other end of the street. The free bikes were also great for exploring some of the ruins a bit further away and it was a bit cooler getting around on bike than walking. The bed was the softest mattress we’ve had so far in Thailand and there were 2 fans in the room that kept us cool enough. Cool property with little bridge to get there and great price
this was one of the best accommodations. it is close to the historical center, the price is friendly, room was clean. this is the best option if you want to meet locals -this hotel is run by family and they were absolutely amazing. we received fresh fruit each day and also breakfast (eggs, toast, mango sticky rice, water - delicious!). we loved it!!!! such a great memory for Ayutthaya :)
The hotel is one of only a few hotels actually in the old city. Ten to fifteen minute walk to historical park and ruins. Hotel room has all the usual amenities but the balcony ( if one could call it that ) was minute. Although staff not used to dealing with westerners they were very friendly and helpful even offering to lend us their own umbrellas. Breakfast was ok.
fantastic property on the river with a beautiful garden. The room was very comfortable and the heritage vibe suits the location well. We took a private boat trip from the hotel jetty around the area and back without having to even leave the property garden..
In the morning, we crossed the road and walked around the historic ruins - location is perfect.
Little tranquil location from hubbub of the city, bird song and water just relaxing you. Excellent breakfast pleasant staff. Pop and mom place reasonable English spoken. Walk out of the gate all the business of Thailand on your doorstep. Rooms small, but bed linen extremely comfortable silly thing but had to be mentioned.
Staff is welcoming and very helpful. The view from our room (second floor) was the temple across the river. Location of the hotel means you have to take a cab or tuk tuk everywhere, but that wasn't a big issue for us. There are food venders up and down the street if you want to experience street food.
Excellent hotel with outstanding serivce. Rooms and area is lovely designed. Especially closed off restaurant area is convenient, and the breakfast served at the room was sublime. While expensive you get what you pay for. But at a more compteitive price it would even be a lovelier experience.
Everything was excellent!!
+ Staff was super nice and adorable
+ Little buffer breakfast
+ Bed and room were very comfy, clean
+ Everything was super clean
+ Location was great
+ Atmosphere was very sweet
All in all one of the best stays I had in Thailand! Thank you again ❤️
The lady who owned the hotel was very helpful and kind. Lovely lady! The room was clean and comfortable. You can also do your washing on-site for a small fee I think it was around 50 baht.
The staff was very friendly. The room was comfortable and rather larger. The location good - around 10 minutes to the main temples on bicycle (which the hotel offers for free).
This hotel is typical Thailand style, but very clean and comfortable. Some of staffs can speak English well and very friendly and polite, so there is no stress during my stay.
