Pranburi is a quiet beach town.
Pranburi is a quiet beach town. It has one part which is slightly busier along the Dolphin Bay Hotel area, with more restaurant options, shops and a nicer beach, but not overwhelming. The other part is quieter and still developing but has some very nice resorts. It is impossible not relax. Lots of beach space for kids to play.

Pran Buri, is the town.
Pran Buri, is the town. The beach front area is known as 'Pak Nam Pran'. Quieter and more relaxed than Hua-Hin and Cha-Am, it's both a bit further from Bangkok and slightly better value. There are not the same range of restaurants, bars or other tourists facilities as the previously mentioned resort areas, but there is good food to be had, and some decent resorts.

We booked for 3 days to be near Kuri Buri national park to go on elephant safari which was amazing! Not sure I would want to holiday there for long period. The locals need to clean up the beach from rubbish, as it could be really beautiful.

I am familiar with Pranburi and this villa is ideally situated for trips to the beach or getting into town. Regarding the villa. Honestly. Just pack your clothes and turn up. Everything is in place for you. From pool towels to games for the kids. I have booked again for November and would recommend this villa for everyone. The pool is small but big enough and a small part of it is shaded which is nice. The staff were very friendly and always courteous. I can only recommend our bungalow right on the beach. Hua Hin is also not far away if you want to experience something. There are also lots of kitesurfers. Real pros, great to watch or take part in. The Praseban is a good alternative to the hustle and bustle of Hua Hin. Really recommendable.
