The bungalow was very comfortable with a mosquito net around the bed so absolutely no issue with bugs. The sleeping part of the bungalow is elevated above the ground while the bathroom on the back is at "floor" level. My partner and I probably had the best sleep of our 1 month in Thailand there. The owners are really nice and accommodating. They can help you for pretty much anything: Tours, transport, food, breakfast, laundry, scooter/bike rental. Location is perfect because you can just walking from Charlie/Farang Beach and back after sunset. This is the beach we enjoyed the most. A tuk-tuk to the town part should cost 50-100 THB or or you can walk 30-45 min.

This place was so nice and beautiful, I had to extend my stay. The bungalow is very comfy and private, simple and effective. I didn't really get many bugs considering all the nature that is around there, and I could sleep at ease because the mosquito net was well kept and completely effective. Nice little pond in front of the bungalow, with a nice view both in sunny and rainy weather (great balcony for that). I loved the location, close to the beach and some places to eat, yet out of the village. I could walk alone at night safely to go eat. The nature sounds at night are a lullaby I will always miss. The hosts were kind and ready to help with any issues. They charged much less than other places for breakfast, and they were so kind to take me to the pier when I checked out (the taxi driver didn't show up and I would have missed the ferry otherwise). I would love to come back one day! Khob khun ka!

If you look in the dictionary for 'hospitality' it should appear 'Bamboo Huts' as synonym :) Kookai and her husband will make your stay one of the greatest you ever had. They will be glad to help you in anything you need! Transport, island info, transfers, whatever! Moreover, one of the most excellent food in the island and cooked with so much love. The location is great, surrounded by nature and wild animals! The bungalows have been built new recently and they have everything you may need. Simple, cozy, clean and best value for money. Stop looking for homestays in Ko mook, you already found the best :)

The owners are just so friendly and helpful! I fet really welcomed for the first minute. I could also organize a tour with them so easily. Also they have a tuktuk and can bring you to other places on the island. The location is great, 5 minutes to the lovely Charlie beach (amazing sunsets) Really tasty breakfast

charlie beach less than 5 minutes walk and we walked into the central area each evening. breakfast was perfect. Owners are lovely and very helpful with making any arrangements. we were worried that we might be too hot without AC but the fan was ideal on the lowest setting and we slept better than we had in other places with AC.

Nice comfortable bungalow in peaceful location just five minutes walk to the lovely Charlies beach. Bungalow was in immaculate condition, staff were friendly and helpful, restaurant was open from very early morning and throughout day with a wide selection of Thai and Western food. Place had a happy and peaceful vibe that was infectious. We look forward to staying there on our next Koh Muk holiday.
