Guesthouse Tajcr is a self-standing house which consists of several different units: two big, comfortable, fully equiped 4-star apartments, one smaller and cozy 3-star apartment and two rooms with their own bathrooms. Around a house is lawn, garden, and fruit orchard where our guests can make a grill or just chill on a deck chairson a fresh air.
Guesthouse Tajcr is family owned. The daughter Tamara is in charge of booking and arranging everything so that your trip to Soča valley is safe and pleasant. The mother Marica often receive guests, giving them a warm welcome. She does her best to make everyone welcomed, comfortable, to feel like at home. She is helpful in any situation and is full of information. At the same time she takes care so the facilities are clean and 'green'. Father Josko takes care of the surrounding. that the lawn is in the line, that tomatoes are getting bigger, that the trees are giving the most fruit and that the birds are happy. If something brakes down, he is the man to have around. Brother Primoz runs a sports agency SPORT MIX where they offer adventures as part of a vacation - rafting, kayaking, canyoning, hydrospeed, mountainbiking, rock climbing, caving, paragliding, zip-line and paintball. A receptionist at the office is his wife Maja and she and Tamara are also a local tourist guides, So we can take you to discover unique river valley and mountains. We can show you hidden spots and tell you about local area and the forgotten stories.
Most people put Bovec as a capital of outdoor sports. All locals agree, naturally. Besides whitewater sports the most interest is in mountain and road biking, caving, mountain climbing, zip-line, paragliding and skydiving. The landscape is amazing. Due to difficult accessibility and lack of industry the nature stays unspoiled and wild. Every valley has hidden spots that can take your breath away. Springs, waterfalls, meadows, forests, you name it. Narrow paths will lead you through this magic land.
