Maria is a fantastic host, who is attentive to very little details in her house. The stay in her bungalow absolutely exceeded our expectations. We would love to come back to this beautiful corner of the island and spend more time at the Sunbird Bungalow hosted by such fabulous, kind and friendly people like Maria and her daughter Martina.

The perfect place to relax and recharge. Very nice, spacious rooms, great bathroom layout. Confortable bed and silent efficient AC. The first hotel i stayed in that had a steamer instead of an iron( very good for summer eary dresses). The pool and pool bar area were great- they have happy hour ;). The beach is across the street and its a wonderful place, plenty of natural shade thanks to the luxurious Seychelles vegetation. The beach restaurant is awesome. I usually dont comment about the hotel staff, but i will this time. They were all smiling, polite, and had a great ease when attending to our requests. This added to the holiday feel. We had half bord, breakfast was buffet style and dinner was a 3 course meal. I highly recommend this gotel. Intimate, elegant, very clean, perfect location, excelent service.

I recommend to carry cash.
From the Airport to Anse Boileu taxi will charge you maximum 800 Seychelles Rupees which is around 55USD.
There is no taxi service like in most of the countries to catch taxi in the street even in Capital City Victoria. Taxi is on call and 1 trip will cost you min 500 Seychelles Rupees.
100 Seychelles Rupees fee when using ATM.
Local bus charges 25 Seychelles Rupees per person.
Local shops use card and have mostly all what you need.
Road is very narrow and need to be very cautious when driving around. The Seychelles is right side driving country.
Water sports quite expensive, for example a Jet ski (1200 Seychelles Rupees 83usd per 30 minutes).
Seychelles has lot to offer to visit and explore and view is like in paradise and local community is very friendly.

The location as per my opinion is great - approximately on the center of the west cost. So, you can explore the island in different directions in different days. It is sunset part of the Seychelles - extremely beautiful.

Anse Louis beach was perfect and right on our doorstep.
Anse Louis beach was perfect and right on our doorstep. Surrounded by stunning tropical scenery. Stunning views.
A car is essential to see further afield and visit other beautiful beaches and restaurants.
Kapatya was definitely the best restaurant in the area offering a wide choice of curries, pizzas, fish, meat dishes and live music on Saturday. We visited twice.
La Gaulette also good for lunch if your visiting the nearby lunches. Lovely fish, pasta, salads.

I enjoyed the beautiful nature and good local people.
I enjoyed the beautiful nature and good local people. The traffic is a little difficult. I rent a car and I was driving during my trip. Roads are narrow. Sometimes traffic is heavy. Usually parking is not so simple next to the road.

Julie's son received us in a very nice way, he gave us some tips on nice beaches and brought us some fruit from the garden. The location is in a quiet neighborhood just 5 minutes from the Anse Boileau beach and the bus stop. The dog, which according to the comments was on a leash is now walking freely and seems very happy, but unattended. The woman working for Julie was very nice and helpful. We never really met Julie, she stayed inside and didn't seem to want to get in touch with the guests, which was OK for us.
The staff are all extremely kind and always did their absolute best to help out whenever possible. The garden is simply wonderful with a huge variety of plants and animals. Communication is very clear, the room was clean (and was cleaned daily). The starter pack with water and some snacks was also really really appreciated, just what we needed when we arrived! The beaches on the west side of the island nearby are also relatively close and very beautiful!
The place looks amazing, huge apartment with everything you need.
the apartment is Nicky designed, will all amenities you need. Huge rainfall shower in master bedroom, bidet, remote Bluetooth speakers, washer, dishwasher and whatnot.
kitchen is fully equipped, including an outdoor gas barbecue grill.
Rachel provided a fridge full of food and filled up mineral water daily and croissants.
good Wi-Fi.
there is a beach nearby, 15min walk.
Amazing place! It’s beautiful, spacious, spotlessly clean, and fully equipped. Rachel and her team were really great and helpful with everything we needed. The attention to details here could rival any 5 star hotel we stayed at.
Location was great for us for exploring the island, and there are a lot of great beaches around (especially for sunset lovers).
Definitely recommend this place.
Cozy and comfortable place with spacious rooms around a small pool and garden. Comfortable bed, hot water shower with good water pressure. Excellent and helpful staff and owners. Fantastic restaurant on site with great breakfast. Beach with beautiful sunsets across the street; even prettier beaches within a radius of 10-20 minutes by car. Free parking on the other side of the street.
We stayed here for nearly 4 weeks and I can without a doubt say this was the best all around hotel/ self catered apartment experience that I have ever experienced.
-Excellent and friendly staff
- apartment cleaned perfectly everyday
- kitchen has all the appliances you would need
- new bottled water daily
- well groomed gardens
Thank you to the whole team
Marc and Marsha made our family feel very much at home. They gave us good recommendations for beaches, nature trails, shops restaurants. They kept us supplied with fresh towels and the villa was cleaned regularly. They even got us some exotic fruits to try! This was a perfect chilled out holiday for us exploring the island.
The breakfast was good with a selection of fresh fruits plus hot options. The restaurant was really good. Some fantastic dishes that are delicious. Don't miss the passion fruit soufle. It was nice that they hotel also provided beach towels you can take to any of the wonderful beaches on the island.
Breakfast was very good and the meal in the evening was excellent, this hotel's restaurant used to have a reputation for being the best on the island Room was very nice with extras and a nice big bathroom. Very close to the swimming pool
The hotel provided an amazing experience, and my stay was excellent. The staff was highly cooperative and provided all the necessary information regarding nearby islands, which was extremely helpful during my two-day exploration.
everything. location close to the beach. 20 min by bus to the city and the most is MR Henry the owner
can’t express how amazing this owner is
when you are there you can be sure that you got to the right place and right person
The hotel is in a comfortable place and close to the beach, some supermarkets and the police station. We do the check-in at 2am and they were quick to assist us.
