The Sonata was the most magnificent surprise during our stay in Saint-Pete! Making an order, we did not realize that the hotel was located in the building with the most beautiful “paradnaya” (main stairs of the building) in St. Petersburg – “paradnaya Romashka” (google it! It’s definitely a must see!). Don’t forget to ask the hotel staff – and they help you to see it. (There is a magic trick) The room is rather spacy and clean. The location is great! You got all keys and codes from all the gates and can feel completely independent. The entrance to the hotel is from the so-called “yard-well” (true spirit of S-P), stairs are clean and light. Friendly staff.

This 3-star guest house is located in the heart of St. Petersburg, a 5-minute walk from the Fontanka River and a 10-minute walk from Nevsky Prospect. Wi-Fi is free at the Sonata na Fontanke. The bright rooms at guest house Sonata na Fontanke feature soft colors and air conditioning. All rooms include a flat-screen TV with cable channels, and an electric kettle.
