Lovely little town, interesting buildings and some good...
Lovely little town, interesting buildings and some good restaurants particularly “ Pasent” down on the river and “ Bermot” in town. Hotel Premier President was charming! But.....don’t rely on the public buses as we waited for 50 minutes in town for a number 62 to take us to Novi Sad, but it never came. Taxi to Petrovaradin Fortress in Novi Sad around 900 dinars.

Staff was very nice and helpful, and we also loved the breakfast - many different options. There is a nice spa area with pool, jacuzzi and sauna, and we spent a couple of hours there. It has a beautiful garden, spacious and comfortable bedroom and living room, great bathroom, total privacy and great for working as well as relaxing. The host lives in a separate part of the house with her own entrance and facilities, so you really have your own place but she is available if you need anything. Super close to the Danube from where you can take a boat to go to this beautiful little island nearby.
