The place is immaculate clean and full of period furniture that gives it a magical atmosphere. From the home made breakfast, lunches and dinners of superb quality to the true homely feeling that embraces you from arrival, this is the perfect place for anyone looking to relax and rest. The views are breathtaking and the crystalline water of the pool invites you to have a drink sheltered by the shade of the many trees in the beautiful gardens or lay down in one the hammocks and chill. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and have wide balconies with a lovely view of the gardens and the mountain. The bathrooms are big and the showers lovely. Mafalda and Joao are the perfect hosts and we intend on returning as soon as possible.

Located in an ancient village, Chacim, nowadays almost empty of people but historically represented an important trade and industry center. The house seems to preserve the old traits and decorations, being well cleaned and maintained. Owners are very kind and thoughtful. Food is great and traditional.
