Quinta das Colmeias is a 10-hectare property in Madeira Island, it is located in Santo da Serra village. It offers accommodations with a fireplace and poolside gardens. Each unit at Colmeias features a colonial-style décor, with plenty of tapestries, dark wood furnishings and plush sofas in the living room. All accommodations come with a fireplace and private bathroom. All have a fully equipped kitchen, and cable TV. This property is a working organic farm with chickens, lambs, fruit trees and vegetables, all available for guests’ to prepare their meals upon request and a small charge. Guests can enjoy a game of croquet after a dip in the outdoor pool or head to Santo da Serra Golf Club, located a 2-minute drive from Colmeias Quinta. Santo da Serra has several restaurants, a farmer´s market during weekends and a large public garden for flower lovers. Funchal International Airport is a 10-minute drive away and Funchal’s city center is 14 mi away.
