Breakfast was fresh every morning and it was ready for whatever time we chose. From the freshly made cakes and rolls to the delicious variety of fresh fruit, it never disappointed! After breakfast, we would stroll the pristinely manicured gardens as we listened to the chickens and birds that surrounded the home. We were given a personal tour of the larger accommodations available should we choose to return with family. Our room was probably one of the smaller rooms available, but was not short on space for our needs. We even had space enough to host two family members for coffee and a snack one evening. My best suggestion: DO NOT hesitate if you are thinking of staying at this location. God willing it will only be a matter of time before we return! I miss chatting with Cecilia, her husband and their son Joao! Will be making Cecelia’s fig preserves as soon as I can get some to grow!
