Absolutely everything about it was appealing…Very quiet and peaceful…Relaxing…Alex and his staff were wonderful…Breakfast every morning was delicious and their lunch and dinner menu was also very delightful, tasty food…the pool was refreshing and the view of the ocean was lovely…there’s a little stray cat, that we took care of during our stay there, we named her Maya…She was unbelievably friendly and affectionate towards us and she claimed us as her own…it was a beautiful time there at the Surigao Dream Beach Resort and I would highly recommend it to anyone that is looking for a peaceful and relaxing time in a beautiful place

Surigao is recovering from damage caused by typhoon Odette. I suggest waiting a year or so before visiting here. It was rainy and windy during our visit so not fair to comment. Surigao is a nice small city.
Surigao is a nice small city. Safe and a place to visit not just once. Explore more outside the city and you will be surprised what awaits you out there. Beautiful. We just ate inside the hotel restaurant as we don't have enough time to eat out. Food is yummy and the service was fantastic!

A clean and green town, offering awesome activities. However, most of the popular restaurants serve international menus so I kinda missed the authentic Filipino food. Our surfing location was the best experience. Ask the instructors (Aaron and Binoy) at Cloud 9 to bring you to an alternate place which is a 20-minute ride by motorcycle. Zero traffic there so the whole shore is yours. The Magpupungko rock pools were also one of the highlights during our stay in Surigao. Will return again for Sohoton Cove as we had a short stay. When travelling in small groups, it’s better to hire a tricycle at 1,500 PhP to take you to Tayangban cave and Sugba lagoon. A boat can be hired at 1,500 PhP. Do the math here as you’ll save money compared to others.

The property was very close to the ferry port and to some good restaurants. The owner was very hospitable and took me on a little tour to the Silop caves and to the beach. Highly recommended for affordable accommodation in and out of SuriGao City :)

It had a balcony, but it was the only balcony on my trip where it is not allowed to smoke. I was allowed to check in early. This is the reason why I rated it one point higher than intended. There are a lot of restaurants close by. It is in walking distance to the port.
