Nice rustic place on the beach about a mile south of the ferry landing, consequently you need a car. Kayaks available, good snorkeling just off shore. Very friendly and accommodating caretaker. We had the place to ourselves, but usually there would be others. No AC, just fans. If you're looking for modern, this is not it. If you're looking for a nice relaxing place on the beach with a kitchen, this is it.

Located alongside a beautiful white sand beach, Te Ora Hau Ecolodge is located 0.6 mi from Afareaitu Village. Free WiFi access is available in this lodge.
