    We spent two days here, and basically had a sampling of the...

    We spent two days here, and basically had a sampling of the local attractions--one cave and one waterfall. There is a lot more more to see in the area if the tourist has the time and the energy, although the city itself is not particularly interesting due to its commercial nature. There is a nice alameda which makes up for the rather small ovaloid Plaza de Armas. Unfortunately, the southern sector is ugly due to the excessive amount of informal merchants waiting for the new market structure which hopefully will house these temporary structures.

    Great place to do safe adventure tourisme!

    Great place to do safe adventure tourisme! There were many travel agencies with great activity packages and tourist guides. We went with Ecology Tours. Great restaurants with traditional dishes near attractions too.
