The ruins were expansive and high up. The 1.5 hour hike down from the ruins was one of the highlights of our trip. We ate at a Pizza place recommended by the hotel. It was great. Did not see a lot of other restaurant options. The town has some cool narrow cobble stone alleys and a nice plaza. We took a collectivo to Cusco on our way out of town. A great, cheap way to travel. Were looking for one up to the ruins but did not find one because we were at the wrong end of the bridge over the river. You need to walk across the bridge to catch the collectivos. One night in town was about right. Ended up in a slightly more expensive taxi for the ride up to the ruins. Would not recommend hiking up to the ruins, only down!

The walking through Pisac ruins is a fantastic experience - you should go by taxi to the upper entrance and walk down to the exit at the city center. The city itself is small, but very nice, with many good silver and crafts shops, and a fine botanic garden. The stay at the Florencio Casa Hacienda and dining at Cuchara de Palo restaurant were added delights

Pisac is a quiet and chilled out location, that has great little market for breakfast and lots of vegetarian to vegan restaurant's in the evening.
Hiking is a must, with easy to follow routes and easy access to the collectivo's to get to other towns.

A great place to spend a Vacation to disconnect ,Pisac is the entrance of the Sacred Valley and has their own ruins ,don't miss visit them, A lot of greenery and a river to walk trough and the mountains that are surrounding you clam your mind. Also has Lakes, you have to go to Kinsa Cocha and spend a few hours there.

Such a calm town after the hustle and bustle and traffic of Cusco. !! The archaeological site is the most complete and intact site in the country.
Eat at Osteria Antica, just a short walk from the hotel, on the same street. Wood fired oven pizza. The best pizza crust we have tasted. n Apparently, locals from as far away as Ollantaytambo and Urabamba make the trip to eat here.

Pisac has it's fair share of tourists which has positive and negative aspects. There are great restaurants and lots of shopping. Prices are inflated and sometimes requires haggling. A lady on the Sunday market charged us 3 times what she charged the local for a bowl of soup. It was 15 soles instead of 5. No big deal in principle doesn't feel nice. Ask for prices first!
Hostel has an amazing location overlooking pisac valley. The rooms are great and the dorms are the best I’ve seen. Each dorm I believe is a full bed and is quite private for a dorm. Main hang out place is cool and vibey. If you’ve seen reviews that talk ill of the owner, just know this: He lives there and has spent five years working to build and cultivate an awesome space. If you treat him and his home with respect he will treat you with respect and is an awesome guy. Oh one last thing, one of the best hot showers I’ve had in Peru
Everything! the location is a quick walk to town. it’s quiet! The house is like a perfect museum. Do take a minute to look at the decorations. I’m sure they all have a story I’d love to hear some day. The property is beautiful and the staff is INCREDIBLE! Valentina and Pascal go above and beyond. Valentina gives the best needed hugs. 💕 The owner was flexible and caring. the balcony room is where it’s at…that bed! ❤️
I’ll return just for this place. it’s a must in the Pisac valley.
Best place we stayed so far in Peru! super cosy and homy. The bed is very comfy, the small lights in the room bring even more comfyness. I liked the beautiful fresh flowers in the rooms and the rest of the house. The kitchen is clean and big and perfectly equipped. The manager, Steven, is a beautiful soul and very helpful. He also organized a bonfire to gather all the people in the house and we had great food together!
Janisse and Daniel are the best hosts we could have asked for. Very pleasant and attentive.
Excellent location: close to “collectivo” stations, on the river and very quite. All sites of the Sacred Valley are easily accessible. 45 minutes from Cusco, Urubamba and more.
The place is beautiful with an inner large green yard with places to sit and enjoy.
Very good value for the price.
Colores in Pisac was amazing! I originally just booked 2 nights, but wound up staying for nearly a week because I loved it so much. The town itself is easily walkable with so many things to explore, but the accommodation here was unmatched. Daily breakfast, while always the same, was always a delight. The staff was so friendly and kind, and overall my stay here was wonderful.
From the three hotels we so far stayed at in the Cusco region this one wins hands-down. The breakfast was incredible, the staff really friendly and helpful, the hotel garden is a beautiful oasis and the pet lama, dogs and cats are so lovely. Was also great to be able to make our own tea - including coca leaves tea. Was sad to leave and missing it already.
An absolutely beautiful little house about 35mins walk from Pisac. Gabriel, the owner, is super lovely and communicative. Had a bit of trouble finding it since the GPS coordinates led us elsewhere on Goigle Maps, but he videoed with us and helped us up the correct hill. A truly beautiful, comfortable place with fantastic sunset views.
Nice hotel. Very comfortable bed and bed linen. Other thoughtful gestures like coca leaves for tea. Hot water, good water pressure. Helpful and friendly staff. English speaking receptionist. Great location with amazing view, yet my room was quiet. Highly recommended. Pisac is worth spending a night or more.
Beautiful little oasis in picturesque Pisac. The staff was very helpful with all of our many questions and super welcoming to our small children. Breakfast was generous, fresh, delicious and thoughtful toward different dietary needs. Free filtered water a bonus!
Janny and the staff are incredible! They are the most warm and welcoming staff I've had. My girlfriend became sick in Pisac and the really helped us.
In addition, rooms and facilities are excellent. Best shower I've had in Peru, good and stable wifi.
Beautiful view over Plaza Constitucion and the surrounding mountains. The hotel is situated very close to the collectivo bus station. The room was new and comfortable. The manager, Frank was very friendly, helpful and eager to please..
The entire place is a vibe. A quick 15 minute walk from Pisac, settled on a hillside looking across the valley at the Pisac ruins. Hot showers, sauna, daily yoga, great views great vibes.
this hostel is very quite, clean and comfortable. in a great location in pisac. the owner was very kind and gave us information about pisac and things to do. the rooms are big.
The bathroom was clean! The room I stayed at, was very big and airy. There was plenty of room to put your luggage.
It was the perfect location in the city center of Pisac.
Staff in this hotel is amazing creats very warm atmosphere and they are really helpful. Garden is a quite place in the middle of hotel, perfect to rest and meet someone
Very welcoming and helpful staff! The location was perfect, right on the main square. Typical hotel.
The food (specially the fettuccini pasta) was amazing!!
