This is a brand new, sparkling, modern hotel. Every detail has been carefully crafted and it combines Inka decor with Spanish colonial. The ceilings are sky high and there is an amazing view from every room including a sprawling dining room. The only thing nicer than the hotel are the people who run it. They go to great lengths ensuring you have everything you need and will help you coordinate your trip months before you arrive. They even check in with you when you land in Lima to make sure all is well! Exceptional service, food and comfort. The thermal pool, wet and dry sauna are the best way to relax after a day exploring or horse back riding! Highly recommend. This is the new gem of Colca valley!
Boasting a wide range of spa services, access to thermal baths and 3 gourmet dining options, the resort offers garden views from every room, a 3 hour-drive from Arequipa. Private parking is free.
Killawasi Lodge is located in the heart of the famous Colca Valley, in the village of Yangue. Surrounded by panoramic green landscapes, it offers modern accommodations with private balconies.

Love this place! So cozy with beautiful rooms and the most attentive owner. The food is the best we have had anywhere in Peru. I could stay here forever! Best value! Best food! Best owner! ❤️
Yanque is a very beautiful authentic village. You should stay there longer than just one night (we had to leave too soon!), because there are many activities in this area. But if you are there only for one night, have lunch or dinner (almuerzo or cena) in one of the little restaurants near the church: usually they offer a menu for not even 10 soles with plenty to eat. Go for a walk, first to the ruins of Uyo-Uyo (in 45 minutes up the hill over the village), then on your way back to the hot springs next to the Colca river in order to relax in several pools (don't forget your swim suit and towel; the entrance is 15 soles per person).

Picturesque little town, with very friendly locals, truly what I expected and was looking for. Immersed in a local Andean village and the total colca experience is a must. Thank you for the experience Colca Peru... really rocks!
There were many staff on hand and all were very helpful. The room was confortable and given it was -7 degrees at night the bedding and room heating was greatly appreciated. We had both dinner and breakfat at the hotel which was very good. Dinner prices were resonable. There was little option for dinner in the town with a 7km drive was to Chivay the only other option. The hotel is well maintained. Breakfast was availably from 6am so were were able to be away early for the 45min drive to the Condor lookouts.
The hotel and it's surroundings were just amazing. It's a quiet and secluded location, so you can really relax without any sort of disturbance. Breakfast was regular but fine enough (they are still recovering from the pandemic restrictions, so a few things are still not back to what we believe would be normal). A special shout out to Domingo, from the restaurant. He went out of his way to offer us a few items that weren't on the very limited menu. The trout that was on the menu, though, was very good.
Superb ! Clean, comfortable, excellent dining, accomodating and helpful manager, peaceful ... everything was there for a great stay. The rooms are enormous, v clean and pretty. There is a heater for the cold and v warm bedding.
You can walk to the hot springs from the hotel (20 minute walk with beautiful views) There is tea and coffee on offer all day in the restaurant. Laundry was done within the day given.
I stopped off at Yanque for a night on my way to Cabanaconde to do a 3-day trek, which worked really well. I had a nice afternoon visiting Uyo Uyo and the Chacapi hot springs. La Casa de mi Abuela was a quiet and comfy place to spend the night. Comfy beds, a warm, clean room and hot showers. The service was friendly and the food was good too.
A great place to stay in a lovely quiet, scenic town. The hotel offered restaurant meals at night which were excellent. We organised our transfer to and from the hotel with the owner.
We didn't speak Spanish and the owner spoke little English but this was not a problem. We loved our 3 day stay.
We woke up to amazing views every morning. The owner was super kind and even came with us on our tour to el Cruz del Condor. The water was hot and the bed was very comfortable. Definitely a great experience and a great place to base ourselves for gorgeous hikes around Yanque.
Very pleasant stay, everything was just as described. We had a secure parking space for 5 motorcycles. Lady at the reception was extremely nice and helpful. Breakfast was served at the requested time. The hotel is located in a quiet part of town.
Tidy place located in a perfect setting with views of the mountains. Located in Yanque, quiet village with thermal water pools.
Special mention to Danny who was attentive of every detail to make your say comfortable
very nice location, with amazing views. A few good and cheap restaurants nearby. yanque is a very nice place to stay a few nights. There is an electrical heater in the room. very helpful owner.
Very beautiful hotel. Rooms are spacious, food is great and you have access to 2 hot springs (38°C when we were there). Also there is an Alpacas’s farm you can visit which is within the hotel.
Good breakfast, nice to have two restaurants, food is good, I would add may be one more pool, seems a bit packed when hotel is full. Bar at the pools could be warmer, more alive.
Lovely hostel in Yanque. Excellent staff. Big clean rooms, clean bathroom. Breakfast served every morning. Great location for our stay near the Colca Canyon.
