We like to stay. We had three beds. There was three of us. We all had our own bed. The rooms were nice. The pool is kind of crappy. They didn't even have it filled when we got there. It took them until the end of our visit to fill it. They have a hot tub for $20 a use. If they're going to charge because they got a pool then they should have it filled. Otherwise they should charge a cheaper rate comparable to most people in town. We stayed there because of the pool that didn't work. Would I stay there again? I don't know. It's a great location.
As for the breakfast, it was okay. They made omelets but the cheese they have is disgusting. Very cheap. The staff was friendly. It's a very unique place.
The pool situation really kind of crappy. No air conditioning blistering hot inside. I couldn't imagine staying there in the summer.
Inti Punku is ideally located in the center of Aguas Calientes, 5-minutes drive from the central train station. It offers panoramic views of Macchu Picchu and a hydromassage tub.

This hotel worked out great for us for the night before our Machu Picchu visit. We liked that it was a bit up the hill from the train station in a much quieter part of town. The pickup from the train station worked well and the person was very friendly and helpful. The staff was kind enough to serve our breakfast a bit early so we could be one of the first in line for the early bus to MP. This probably wasn't actually necessary since the busses in the morning are so frequent. Minimarket across the street sells water, beer, snacks, etc., which was convenient. Really glad we chose this hotel!

Machu Picchu was completely abandoned for nearly 400 years.
Machu Picchu was completely abandoned for nearly 400 years. There are no know written records of who built it, what it was used for or the part it played in Inca history. The guides are totally speculative. They have good stories..... but completely from their imagination. Do your homework and prepare for the visit.

It might seem almost heretical to not give MP top marks and to admit I planned too much time there, but it is really only the sanctuary that is worth the visit (for me). Had I been up to the mountain climb then another day would have been worth it. It is probably best to arrive the night before, get up early to visit in the morning, then leave after lunch.
Overall, I may have been slightly underwhelmed as it was a rubbish day, overcast and a bit drizzly so the views were less than ideal. Also even taking the bus up to the sanctuary there is still al lot of climbing and at that altitude...!
Hotel staff were incredibly kind. They held our luggage in a secure room prior to check in and helped us to navigate to the hotel, which is centrally located.
We (10 people) had arrived early to Aguas Calientes to try and buy Machu Picchu tickets in person. We were unable to get tickets for the next day, so we decided to leave back to Cusco that night. We didn’t stay the night for that reason, but used the rooms for naps and showers. Rooms were clean. Beds were comfortable with warm blankets. Showers were hot. Solid place, good people.
The hotel is Spotless and new. Hotel is owned by a European and was built in 2019. It's simple but certainly up to US/European standards. Comfortable bed, great breakfast, staff was very helpful & friendly. It’s in a Quiet location. They offered a secure day storage. I was met at the train station with my name on a sign, which made it easy to find. Some reviews complain about hot water but if you let the faucet run for a few minutes, it’s plenty hot, the shower head and pressure are both great.
Had an extremely comfortable and relaxing stay! The hotel is situated on a hill, providing a peaceful and private atmosphere. The interior of the hotel room was impeccably clean. The owner was incredibly attentive and speaks excellent English, helping me with purchasing Machu Picchu tickets and suggesting local attractions. I'll definitely recommend this hotel to my friends.
The hotel is off the main square, close to all the market and restaurants. We were so thankful for this place. Our train arrived late, but they waited at the train station for about 30 mins to pick us up. The bed is very comfortable and great views from the room. They also made breakfast very early for us to go to Machu Picchu at early morning.
We had a wonderful stay with a nice view on the river. The hotel is very close to the center of town with a lot of restaurants, the busstop to Machu Picchu and the trainstation is only 5minutes away.
The staff did a lot of effort to have a nice celebration for my husbands birthday. He loved the nice attention, it made the experience complete.
The hotel's prime location is nothing short of amazing, especially for travel enthusiasts. Nestled conveniently close to the train station, it effortlessly combines comfort with accessibility. The mere proximity to the station makes exploring the city a breeze, allowing guests to embark on exciting adventures with ease.
Everything was perfect ! Someone took us to the hotel from the train station. The room was clean and has a wonderful view on Aguas Calientes.
The breakfast was really tasty, they accommodate it so we can have it at 5am.
The staff is really nice and helpful. I really recommend this place !!
Carlos was a great host, meeting us at the train station to start our stay in Aguas Calientes. The hotel is in a quiet part of town which was nice and relaxing after a busy day at Machu Picchu. And we had a great breakfast on the rooftop with a nice view of the valley.
We booked two rooms and one had a small balcony with the river view- it was nice. The breakfast was pretty good. The property locates close to the hot springs.
The representative met us in the train station to show us the way to the hotel.
The place is walking distance from the train station and the bus stop for going to Macchu Picchu. The hotel is clean. The mattress is comfortable and there is hot water for shower. The hotel personnel are friendly and helpful.
The hotel was comfortable and the staff was excellent. The staff took care of all our needs and the facilities were great. Also, good location in the middle of Aguas Calientes, just across from the train station.
Very nice location, close to the train stop, train departure as well as to the bus stop to Machu Picchu. All restaurants at less than 1 to 5 min walk.
Good hotel to spend a night before going to Machu Pichu
The hotel was in a great location, right in the center but tucked away to avoid the nightlife noise. The outside of the hotel is almost hard to see but inside was very tropical style rooms and atmosphere.
location, pretty close to Peru rail train station when arrival and bus station for Machu Picchu. welcome drink was great. Hotel staff was nice. Clean room and hot water for a good shower.
The host was great, picked us up from the train station, provided us with valuable information and organized a guide for our tour to Machu Picchu. The hotel itself was very clean.
Amazing and kind staff. The hotel is brand new and very clean. The location is perfect - in the centre of Aguas Calientes, but a little away from all the crowds.
