The location is central to many of the restaurants and sights to see in the old part of Cusco. The staff is super friendly. Our room was on the 3rd floor, with a modest view and comfortable bed. Breakfast starts at 6:30 which is convenient if you want to get out and view the local sites. We loved the architecture of this old, but well-maintained building.

This is a very nice very well-run hotel in the central part of the city. Beds are very comfortable with comfortable bathroom and hot water. They provide a great breakfast and it is more affordable than lose in the historic district. We wanted a taxi to take us to Saqsaywaman and the hotel put us in touch with a wonderful driver who gave us a great trip to the ruins and wonderful textile workshop and gallary. It is also minutes away form the historical district by taxi. There are good pollo restuarants a block away.

Although it's considered the oldest inhabited city of the Americas and Peru's historical capital, neither of these truly describes the magic enchantment and colorful people of Cuzco. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, its current shape is the colonial result of building on top of many Incan sites, a good example of which is the Cathedral of Santo Domingo.
Must-see places include the walled complex of Sacsayhuamán and the remains of the main temple of Coricancha, dedicated to the Sun God, Inti. For longer Cuzco stays, hotels nePlaza de Armas central square are ideal to fully enjoy the city. Due to its 11,150-foot altitude, some Cuzco hotels offer oxygen to help their guests.
Moray, supposedly an ancient experimental agricultural station, is 29 miles away, and Lake Titicaca is 240 miles away. The road to Machu Picchu is the famous Inca Trail or "Camino Inca," which encompasses settlements, different Andean environments, and many Incan ruins.
Alejandro Velasco Astete International Airport offers services to Lima. Arriving at Wanchaq Train Station or Terminal Terrestre de Cusco bus station are also popular choices. Come to visit the ancient jewel, enjoy Peru and Cuzco with the hotel deals available on Booking.com!
The tourist area is full of wonderful shopping. This is the place to buy alpaca sweaters and other locally made goods. You can shop at actual stores but also in the San Pedro and lots of pop-up markets. Credit cards are widely accepted, but cash is preferred, of course. Great restaurants and mostly quite inexpensive. There seemed to be a lot of celebrations and some demonstrations, but nothing of which to be fearful. Take the tours in and near the city; you will learn a LOT and they are quite well-organized.

Cusco is a captivating destination that offers a blend of rich history, delicious cuisine, and stunning landscapes. One of the highlights of my trip to Cusco was definitely the ceviche. Served in many restaurants throughout the city, Cusco's ceviche is a delightful explosion of flavors, with fresh fish marinated in citrus juices and accompanied by vibrant herbs and spices. It's a must-try dish for any food enthusiast visiting the region.
Another aspect that impressed me about Cusco was the abundance of fresh produce. Whether strolling through local markets or dining in restaurants, I was constantly amazed by the variety and quality of fruits, vegetables, and other ingredients. The use of fresh, locally sourced products truly enhances the culinary experience in Cusco, adding authenticity and depth to every dish.
Beyond its culinary delights, Cusco is also home to fascinating Inca ruins that offer a glimpse into the ancient civilization that once thrived in the region. Exploring sites such as Sacsayhuamán, Machu Picchu, and Ollantaytambo was a truly awe-inspiring experience. The intricate stonework, breathtaking vistas, and intriguing historical significance of these ruins make them a must-visit for any traveler interested in unraveling the mysteries of the Inca Empire.
Overall, my time in Cusco was filled with unforgettable experiences, from savoring mouthwatering ceviche to marveling at ancient Inca ruins. It's a destination that seamlessly blends cultural heritage, culinary delights, and natural beauty, making it a truly remarkable place to explore.

Getting around Cusco was easy.
Getting around Cusco was easy. We are walkers and we love to see the typical markets and amazing museums. Its people are friendly and helpful. Any question was answered when we just ask anyone around. Restaurants? Mother of God! Delicious, too many options to choose from. From simple restaurants to fancy ones and the best: beautiful women in the street with cooked corn and pineapple slices to sale.

Cusco is one of my favorite cities in Peru.
Cusco is one of my favorite cities in Peru. It is a photographers dream, almost every you look there is a chance to take a wonderful travel photo while walking around, the old city is an absolute joy. No mater how long I have stayed in Cusco it has been too short and I always want to return to see things I have missed. However, it is a good idea to book a hotel which offers heat in the rooms as it can get rather chilly at night in the cold season.

Beautiful city, travelled all the way from Dubai to Peru and Cusco was of course a must-see. We spent NYE there and of course hit all of the main attractions (including doing the inca trail!). Recommend it to any kind of traveler looking for beautiful scenery, amazing food, and loads of adventure!
It is in the San Blas barrio, which is known as an artists’ colony. It has fantastic views over the city (which means it’s a 12-minute uphill walk from the historic town Center). Note, tho, that the entrance to the hotel is via a pedestrian walkway. You might have to haul your bags a block or two and up/down stairs. The decor is charming. Our bed was comfortable; the hotel was very quiet. The staff are friendly, and as helpful as they can be without speaking much English. Our Booking.com price was incredibly good value for money!
Er had a lovely stay with our family and our baby. The hotel is really amazing the people who are working there are super helpful and always friendly. Richard Cruz Castro made all our wishes come true. We had some massages helped us with oxygen whenever we needed some. He greeted us everyday at the breakfast personally. Everyone were so friendly and the hotel was exactly what we were looking for. Close to the city Center safe and not far to the train to Go to Machu Picchu. Thank you for making our stay so lovely ! All the best.
We had an amazing stay in Hotel Peru Real. The location is very good, we were walking everywhere. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are clean. The best part is the staff. They are so helpful and welcoming. Roberto made our stay incredible. He helped us book all our tours, adjusted it to our schedule and genuinly cared that we were safe and happy. If you go to Cusco, book everything with the Hotel, not online. We had the best help and would reccomend everyone to do the same. Thank you Roberto and the rest of the staff 🫶🏽
The staff are so friendly and helpful. They go out of their way to help you with things and gave us great tips on places to eat and visit.
Rooms are clean and modern.
Breakfast was included and was great. A good selection of cereals, tea, fruits, cooked eggs, and other things like pancakes and fried plantain.
Their laundry service was quick and really helped us out. We also got a massage in the hotel which was great as well.
Being in San Blas is great and the streets and shops are amazing.
Antigua Casona San Blas is a gem! The beautiful hotel has a very charming and authentic feel, with an attentive staff offering lovely touches like nightly hot water bottles and tea. The cosy fireplace and outstanding restaurant made our Cusco stay unforgettable, and it was our go-to spot for the best dinner in town. The staff went above and beyond – from packed breakfasts for tours to off-menu requests like homemade chicken soup. Truly, our favourite hotel in all of South America!
Very comfortable and new place. The hotel is essentially newly built so everything inside is new. They have a great terrace where there is a cafe and a great view of Cusco. The food is great, especially fruit salad for every recommendation. All the staff working at the hotel are very kind and willing to help and that is what gives that hotel a high rating. They even provided us with oxygen in the bottle for free due to difficulties in acclimatization.
We stayed at Tariq for 5 nights and had an amazing time. Our room was cozy, clean and beautifully decorated. Our favorite part of the hotel was the view from the dining room, one of the best in Cusco! Wonderful neighborhood with the best restaurants and shops in town. San blas is in my opinion the ideal place to stay in Cusco! The staff was kind, professional and patient. Highly recommended Tariq!
Very quiet hotel near the main square. The staff was very pleasant and hard working. The rooms and bathroom were clean. Due to the absence of heating (this is a matter of the whole of Peru), we really appreciated the thick blankets under which it was warm. The breakfasts were good - fresh eggs, jam, butter, fruit, ham, cheese and freshly squeezed juices.
I also appreciate the warm running water.
We didn't actually stay at this hotel... I guess we booked with a company called Apu's Peru and they organized our stay but were not honest at all and stole about 300 USD dollars from us. Be very aware of Apu's Peru... when we challenged them they ghosted us, taking all our money and did not even completely pay for the meals they said they would so we had to pay the restaurant ourselves.
Although it’s a bit of a hike from the main plaza, it’s in San Blas, a very interesting and quaint area. We took some time to walk the cobbled streets, which were much quieter than in the center. The hotel itself is a haven of peace with a beautiful view of Cusco and the mountains beyond. We arrived after our Machu Picchu hike and got massages. I had the hot stone massage. Fabulous!!
The owner, Zuzan, was helpful and kind. She made the best breakfast out of all the hotels I've stayed at in Peru. We communicated via translator app and she understood my needs immediately. Her house is located close to the city and offers a quiet rest at night. I was able to walk to San Pedro market within 10 minutes in the morning.
A really lovely, mid range hotel in the San Blas area of Cusco. Lovely gardens and reception areas including a nice closed veranda to sit out on. Rooms were spacious and clean. Great breakfast and super helpful and flexible staff. We were meant to change hotels but ended up forfeiting a night in another hotel to stay at Amaru.
The hotel is very easy to find. It’s about 5-8mins away from the pick up point for Peru Rail and Inca Rail. There is also a Claro shop close by where you can get your SIM card.
Staff were very friendly and accommodating especially Nohely who made our booking easy. Maribel was very attentive and Percy was very helpful.
The hotel is absolutely gorgeous and the rooms, while not huge, were comfortable and had little authentic Peruvian touches. The hotel is decorated with carved wood, rockery, plants, and colorful Peruvian textiles. At night, they did a turn down service with hot tea and hot water bottles in the bed
The included breakfast (fruits, bread with jam, and eggs) was fantastic. The hotel is perfectly located at the base of San Blas neighborhood and one block from the main plaza. Staff was friendly, rooms were clean, and price was reasonable. Would recommend to anyone staying in Cusco!
Quinta hotel is situated in the best area of Cusco and offers really great value for money accommodation in its serene gardens. The rooms were really spacious and combined the Peruvian style with modern notes. Very clean and comfort overall.
An old house repurposed, very comfortable and feel very homey. it is sitting in one of the busiest streets (San Blas) but once inside the hotel it transform to a very different comfy and tranquil feeling. Staff was great and very useful.
Lovely hotel in the san blas area. Outstanding bed and a very good room. The staff is fenomenal and really make a difference.
You can leave you’re luggage behind when you go on a trip. I would recommend a stay for sure in Cusco
The staff were very friendly and accommodating
The location is unbeatable if you’re looking to stay in San Blas
The hotel provided an electric heater which was very helpful for the cold Cusco nights
