The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Bed sheets and towels were replaced every second day. Moreover, there are hammocks and a rooftop terrace with charging infrastructure for all kinds of electronic devices. We liked that a lot since it can get quite hot in the rooms. The shared kitchen was also clean and well equipped. The location is also a big plus since it's only a 5 minute walk to the beach and 10 to the village where all the restaurants and shops are. If you're lazy, however, there's a mini market right next door.

Good value for money. Nice beach side service. The staff was great and really thoughtful. We had the chance to get a late check out (extra charge, but worthy).

We were right on the beach. So it was nice to relax by the sound of waves. Nice for the long walk on the beach in the morning when sun is not too strong.
Restaurants and small coffee houses were not so close to the place we were staying on the beach. But we rented a car so it was easy to get to the town.
The best place to eat was Chef Benites in The Mercado on the second floor. Food was very good and the price even better. Mancora is small town so it is easy to get around.
I like beaches where we can swim, snorkel. And the beach in Mancora is not suitable for it. So I would probably not come here again.

Mancora is chaotic, public spaces are ill kept, roads are calamitous. It is rather noisy, and city planning is something unheard of. Having said that, the town is colourful, and people are lovely, always with a smile and mild mannered. The food is great wherever you go, and there are several lovely areas by the beach. To the south of Mancora you can find perfection: all the buildings are fantastic and there are fewer people and noise. Maybe staying in the south (playa las pocitas and further south) and visiting the north is the right combination?

Visited Mancora 3 times in different months.
Visited Mancora 3 times in different months. During the holidays, better stay way!
Beaches crowded, bad service in the restaurants and terrible transportation options.
If you have chance, better visit from August to November.
Recommend Los Órganos and Vichayito beach!

Mancora is an OK city on the shoreline of the North coast of Peru. Too many Venezuelan refugees now and pick pockets, few policemen visible on the streets/patrolling. Not the tourist paradise anymore as before. Not safe and clean enough. Restaurants ok in general but few good ones. Better to spend 1-2 days there as a group. And go for the day tours to other places! Better go to Paracas instead! Safer and cleaner with better food and beaches ⛱️

Mancora is a charming little surf town.
Mancora is a charming little surf town. I only experienced it during the day, but it looks like it heats up after dark and can be a real party place. Pretty much every meal I had at a restaurant was delicious.
The town is walkable but there are tuc-tucs available at your beck and call. The beach is large and expansive and the water nice and warm.
I arrived in Mancora via Talara; I flew from Lima to Talara, took a cab to the Eppo bus station (10 soles), and took the bus to Mancora (7.50 soles). The bus journey is around 1hr 45min. I bought my return bus ticket in town the night before my return flight. It was all reasonably easy!

Nice place, but we expected a bit more of the surrounding areas. To start with, we had to ride 3 hours from Piura to get to Mancora, and once there, another ride of 20 minutes over a very uneven road.
Whilst we didn't love Mancora we really liked Casa Maracuya. The owners are very friendly and provided great suggestions for places to eat and even onward travel in Peru. Breakfast each morning was different and the best we have had whilst travelling in South America so far, although a little on the small side for hungry surfers maybe! The bedroom was clean and comfortable, but we did both get eaten alive by mosquitos in the night even with bug nets on the windows so a net over the bed might be useful too.
The location a few meters from the beach, walking from the restaurants and sale of crafts. The clean facilities with a good Wi-Fi signal.
The tropical environment, with gardens and palm trees, as well as the staff were excellent. They are is friendly and will help you with everything you may need.
Excellent breakfast! If you are looking for a low key quiet place to relax in the party town of Mancora this is it.
I would love to come back again!
Right on the beach with comfortable private rooms and warm lighting. There were two pools, but unfortunately the ocean tide was extremely high due to a storm and flooded the pools both days. The staff worked extremely hard to clean the pools and return them to their glory. A ten minute walk from town. Great common areas to relax in. We stayed over NYE so it was very expensive, but I don’t think this is unusual for this time of year.
Robert has something really special here- we ended up extending our stay. This isn’t luxury but everything is done very well- comfy beds, very clean, good kitchen. The best thing about mancora beach house is the atmosphere and vibe Robert and his team create, but having a little shop for guests that sells everything at local prices it’s the perfect atmosphere for a sunset beer. I would 100% recommend- we loved it!
A lovely family run hotel with staff who feel like an extension of the family. The room was very comfortable (Suite 3) and there was a little outdoor area I could sit and watch the beach. A simple breakfast is included and there is a fairly good lunch and dinner menu to order from. Who would have thought you could get freshly made pasta to order - yes you can here and it was really good!
Super responsive owner and very helpful. Helped me look for a laundry place, because it was currently not possible at their hostel. She also let me stay until the evening when my bus to Ecuador left, so I didn't have to worry about my luggage during my last day in Peru :D
It was affordable accommodation still not too far from the Máncora downtown. The beach was within distance walking under the Pan-american highway bridge. The upper floor terrace was a good place to sit and access Wifi, but dusty as all the town.
The location! It’s just 20 minutes to walk on the beach to town- surfing- restaurants. It feel very safe- they have security after 8 when the close the beach and street entrances. The infinity pool looking over the ocean 🌊- everything!
The place was nice. Nice rooms. Very quite. Nice beach and not so far from Mancora city center.
The best employee always nice, helping and smiling was Maria-Macarena!!
The employees at the office didn’t say « buenas dias »…
Great place in a nice and quiet location, very rustic and simple with a great traditional beach feeling! Julio and Miguel are very nice and friendly people always willing to help, just a shame I couldn't extend!
One of those amazing places that feels like staying at home. The hosts were truly exceptional. So nice and welcoming. If I go back to Mancora I will definitely go back to Kinti Guest House :)
The view was excellent, the beach was only at 50 meters away and the sound of the waves was soothing. the access to the room was across one of the pools. All sorounded by coco and palm trees.
Beautiful hotel located near the centre of Mancora, but without all the fuzz and noise from the streets. Rooms are spacious and well-kept.
Staff is helpful and nice.
Great hotel, run by a really lovely and kind couple who were so friendly. Fresh mango juice for breakfast and good location (close to beach and tasty restaurants)
