Lima is a beautiful city, a lot of attractions as an excellent food, as every little town in Peru, number one cousine in the world. Two things that need know : TERRIBLE TRAFFIC AND INSECURITY CITY AREAS. So be careful, don’t bring fancy stuff. Uber does work well there, check for another local apps.

Miraflores is really nice.
Miraflores is really nice. I've found transportation isn't easy in Lima. No subway per say only buses. To go and visit Centro was cumbersome. Only a few pick-up places for Tour buses around Miraflores.

This was not a part of our plans, just to get a nights rest...
This was not a part of our plans, just to get a nights rest before flying home. We went directly from the airport to Cusco, and this was the only way we could get to our return flight. As it was, I made a mistake on the timing of the flight (1am not 1pm) and so we had an extra whole day in the city. We really enjoyed it. The first day we did the tourist bus from Miraflores, and that was ok (tough to understand the English part of the dual language tour). We then checked out the coastal area briefly before going back. Day 2 was an adventure because I had messed up the flight timing. We made the best out of it by renting a car and going back to some of the areas we saw the previous day. We found a great vegan restaurant and got to check out the beaches, which are VERY different than anywhere I've been in the world, and I have traveled for 20 years on business. The people are pretty nice but almost exclusively speak Spanish. Google translate is your friend. A lot of drama getting to the airport at night, the traffic at 9pm was so crazy. But we certianly saw enough that we really don't need to go back. Two days is good for this place. And in our two days, it was really 18 hours total.

Lima is an amazing city.
Lima is an amazing city. If you are a city person you will enjoy. We stayed in Miraflores and walked a lot. Many great restaurants to explore. Loads of parks. People watching. We never felt unsafe. Historical Lima is great to stroll and take in the history. Ceviche ceviche and more ceviche. China town and the market. Request your pisco sour dry if you don't like sweet cocktails. I would go back in a heart beat!

This is not in Lima but in Playa Zorritos.
This is not in Lima but in Playa Zorritos. The condo unit was generally ok but it was missing things like a toaster, knives that can cut, a choice of pillows, sheets that fit and were not threadbare. Overall things needed to be painted.

Lima is one of the best cities in the world if you are into...
Lima is one of the best cities in the world if you are into culinary delights. It is also a great place to visit if you enjoy a rich history from ancient to modern times, with great architecture and archeological remains.
The people in Lima are super friendly and if you stay in a tourist area you will find that many people speak and/or understand English.
Some of my favorite spots include the Historic Center of Lima; most of the museums; the most recommended restaurants, the beaches, and some of the Shopping Malls.
The owner is a delight. She did everything she could to make us feel welcome and cared for. There were so many thoughtful touches like complementary fruit in the rooms. The bed (though not the sofa bed) was very comfortable and the room, although a little old and basic, was exceptionally clean. The price for a hotel in a capital city is very cheap and this is reflected in what you get in terms of facilities. The owner however would put any 5 Star concierge to shame in terms of the effort she puts in to look after you.
Two stays at The Atrium, initially for one night in a double room upon our arrival in Peru, then two nights at the finish of our stay in Peru, when we booked the top floor suite, which has plenty of room and outdoor balconies.
Centrally placed in Miraflores, with good options for local restaurants, shops and for getting about the city.
Good breakfasts and great, helpful staff.
Hotel will book you a taxi which is great, or you can use an airport transfer bus from the Info centre which is also good.
I had a very uncomplicated time at the hotel. Arrived late in the evening, everything was prepared already and the friendly staff at the reception quickly checked me in and got me up to my room for a good nights rest.
Location isn't the best, but still most sited around Miraflores are in easy walkind distance and you can take an Uber anywhere. The bed was extremely comfortable, breakfast selection adequate and overall I very much enjoed my time there and will be back, next time I am in Lima.
The hotel is very well located in Miraflores about 45mins from the airport. There are lots of restaurants, bars banks, money changers and places to buy SIM cards very close to the hotel.
We were upgraded to a king suite which was very spacious and well equipped. Everything very clean and a nice bathroom with lots of hot water. Bottled water delivered each day and a kettle in the room.
Good buffet breakfast with ability to order eggs and bacon etc.
I would definitely stay here again.
Perfect location for an overnight stay on your way to Cusco. It’s a 5 minute free shuttle ride away from the airport and has a delicious buffet breakfast available from 4am -10am for travelers. Staff are very friendly and helpful and most speak very good English and are happy to help refine Spanish skills! Taxis are available for visits into the sights of Lima. Don’t miss seeing Miraflores or Plaza de Armes!
A hidden gem in Miraflores. The hotel is centrally located but sits in a hidden alcove between all the giant hotels and casinos. It has a peaceful fountain and a friendly security guard. Breakfast is amazing. They'll make you a fresh omelette, a great selection of fresh fruits and the coffee was delicious.
Room was clean, had a nice hot shower and our room had a balcony overlooking the fountain.
Great location 15min walk to barranco district, 30 min walk to miraflores with its shops and restaurants. The house is soo cute and comfortable. The staff is so wonderful that i have already booked this hotel 3 times!!! The breakfast is delicious. There is a terrace if you smoke. Honestly i cannot fault it. Try to avoid late check in for cheaper taxis from the airport
Would recomment this place!!!
This hotel had everything and our room was very spacious, we had a great breakfast plus on our checkout day we had to leave for the airport and thought we couldn’t have breakfast but down stairs at reception they had a breakfast you could make and take with you .
The hotel is in the very safe area of Miraflores in walking distance to the waterfront restaurants and shopping centre.
I have spent a wonderful night at Lima Boutique 18. As I arrived late in the night, they gave me at the reception all the information I was needing to visit quickly Miraflores and Barranco districts in a day. I have also enjoyed the hospitality of the hotel and their delicious breakfast. Clearly I warmly recommend Lima 18 Boutique to anyone willing to enjoy a Lima trip.
Luz is a very friendly host. Her breakfast breads and coffee were the best we got served during our three week stay in Peru. The house is very close to the airport and the rate is about 25% of the airport hotels. there are plenty of cheap and good restaurants and stores within walking distance. Did not feel unsafe when walking there.
The location is very central in Miraflores - walking distance to Kennedy Park, restaurants, a local market, and all the tourist shops. Downtown Lima is a 20 soles taxi ride away and Barranco is a 10 soles taxi ride away. I was able to talk to a local taxi driver and get a ride to the airport for 50 soles. Internet worked well enough.
The best location in Miraflores, very posh very safe part of Lima.Located opposite very popular Larkomar, full of restaurants, bars, ships and very well supermarket Wong.
The apartment is on 14 th floor with panoramic view over the ocean, and Marriotts Hotels!
Amazing hotel in the heart of Miraflores. Lovely clean and spacious rooms and great staff. There is a cool cafe attached to the hotel which serves the best coffee and is where breakfast is served. I definitely recommend staying here while in Lima.
Small, boutique hotel had its charms. The room was large with good light. Bed was comfortable and bathroom was a good size. Staff was friendly and spoke English. Excellent location, near everything in Miraflores.
Can’t beat the location if you have an early flight out of Lima. We stayed in Miraflores one night, but the drive to and from the hotel was very long so we didn’t get to enjoy ourselves at that location.
Great value for money and a very comfortable hotel in the heart of Miraflores.
Was perfect for a few days traveling alone for business.
Close to many restaurants and bars.
Amazing breakfast!
