This welcoming lodge is a comfortable stop-over point for trekkers going to Everest Base Camp. Rooms feature wooden ceiling beams and wooden flooring, as well as large windows which overlook the mountains. Electric mats are available to warm the beds. The private bathroom has hot running water and a shower. Mountain Lodges of Nepal - Monjo is a 6-hour trek from Lukla via Phakding. From Lukla, it is a 45-minute flight to Kathmandu Airport. The on-site restaurant serves Nepali cuisine, using homegrown organic vegetables from the property's own greenhouse. There is also a well-stocked bar where guests can relax and have a drink.
