Fabulous lodge! The main lounge/bar/ pool area was lovely and open and tastefully furnished. The rooms are fantastic -- each room is a separate cottage that has been carefully placed for individual privacy. Our room had a full slider door off the back with a patio, two comfortable chairs all facing the bush and totally private. Our daughters' room had a front patio and a back large, plate glass window with a window seat facing the bush. Fantastic design! There are two pools and loads of places to walk, lounge, relax all over this beautifully maintained lodge. Also, we stayed in several different holiday spots during our trip to Namibia-- Toshari Lodge had THE BEST food -- excellent! Fresh, super tasty and full of flavor (none of the bland "offend-no-one-with-lack-of-taste" lowest common denominator buffet food here. Also, the staff were fantastic -- they sang for us every night. Great place! I highly recommend and would return if I got the chance.

Excellent location, relatively close to Etosha, with lovely landscaping, charming staff, and welcoming facilities. The layout allows for a quick walk from most units back to the common areas. While this lodge does not have the open sweeping vistas we have experienced at other locations, the charm here is in the cozy feeling, surrounded by vegetation, close to the pool, the bar, and the amazing food, prepared in a home-style, yet high end. A special touch was the mini-show of African songs presented by the staff at the end of the dinner. It is clear that people who work at the Toshari Lodge enjoy their work there and are happy to serve their guests.

The room was excellent and very spacious and comfortable. The staff at the lodge are very friendly and very helpful. The bar area is very good and very spacious. We did a game drive to Etosha and it was very reasonable for an all day activity. We paid to have dinner every night and the quality of the food was excellent.

Everything: staff were excellent, friendly , polite and good fun! The accommodation was very comfortable. The buffet for breakfast and dinner varied and very tasty! The three pools were clean but a little cold - still enjoyable!
