My husband and I stayed two nights at the La Joyita and it was a lovely stay. The rooms are spacious and the beds were comfortable. We opted to order breakfast from the menu beyond what was included with our stay and it was delicious. The sopes and enchiladas were delightful. There is a nice pool and food is served outside the rooms, which was a great touch. The hotel is about 17 min from the center, and it is walkable. However, Uber is also available and cost less than $4 per ride.

Beautiful hotel, pool (temperature controlled) and greenery, great rooms, great service. Restaurant and chef were excellent (great food) and best of all!! Pet friendly, we had our cat with us.
