Many good quality restaurants of all types of food and price ranges to meet your personal budget, easy to get around, basic shopping mall nothing to wow about, great weather as it almost never rains and temperatures in mid 80 to low 90 april to September. As any city, get in the wrong neighborhood and trouble will find you, stick to business and hotel zones your good to go, San Carlos Beach awesome just 50 minute drive south, visible police without being overbearing, very protective of tourist as many Canadians and Americans are frequent visitors.RCR UK MEXMexico - 10Scored 10

(Part of the reason for the quiet was that the hotel is in an area full of government buildings that were fairly quiet during the day but even quieter in the evenings after the buildings closed.) It was an easy 10 or 15-minute walk to the cathedral and other city-center locations. The breakfast buffet was creative, delicious, and different every day (the soupy Mexican-style breakfast beans, fruit, juices and cold cereals were the same).
