this is a great location, 3 minute walk to the ocean. a further 5 minute walk along some rocky shore to get a a nice sandy beach. the kitchen is in an elevated open air building that has all the accessories. the best coffee is available all morning. the owners tom and lizet were often around and fun to chat with. other guests were all very cool. i stayed in the shared dorm, it was really quiet and easy place to be.

The Hosts were charming and helpful. Served us a wonderful breakfast each morning. The hotel itself is nice, room was very comfortable, the location was great. Manzanillo Bay is great for swimming and boogie boarding. Also great for walking. Many restaurants within walking distance and yoga classes nearby.

this property is for someone (or a couple) looking to get away and just relax...there are activities to pursue if so desired (surfing, fishing, swimming, cycling, and others) but we just spent the week reading and swimming (fyi the pool is really nice for cooling off as it is 10* cooler than ocean)...the property is in a great location (drinking water & beer across the street, plenty of restaurants near or option to get groceries and cook...being right on the beach was the best but also had plenty of shaded areas on property as well...wi-fi worked great...everything was fantastic especially Gloria the host (the other guests were great as well)...definitely would stay here again
cheers

The bed was comfortable & the view from our room on the 10th floor was nice. Sunset from the very crowded beach was nice but way too many people to be able to really enjoy it.

We enjoyed the intimate, small, relaxed environment of Tres Mujueres. Each morning we had breakfast in the outside kitchen/dining area where we could mix with the staff and guests. The pool area and surrounding gardens were beautifully managed and there were several areas in which to spend a wonderfully relaxing day by or on the beach. Very good restaurants are close by as well.

Troncones was great...restaurants, beaches, people.
Troncones was great...restaurants, beaches, people. Needs a good grocery store. The family at the farmacia was great. Got excellent massage at Cafe Corazon from Shelley there, and it is an excellent vegan cafe and coffee shop. She is an amazing practicioner. Taxis are good...! 100 pesos ($5) to go anywhere in town. I ate mostly at "Chencho's"...highly recommended by everyone. Order any relleno..! However, when I returned home, I found that my entire body was covered with lesions from bites of BED-BUGS from the mattress at Roberto's Bistro..! (I wondered why it was so affordable). Don't stay there.

I appreciated the modest scale of tourist facilities in Manzanilla Bay and that most are owned/run by Mexicans. Little shops and restaurants were an easy walk from where I stayed in Casa Manzanilla B&B. This bay is also especially beautiful.

If you're looking for a quiet place to stay with warm ocean water, great food options, and other perks (like yoga classes) you won't be disappointed. We spent a week there and loved it. Grocery options are few so best to get those at the nearest big town.

This is a very small, off the beaten path type of town.
This is a very small, off the beaten path type of town. Therefore there are not a lot of restaurants and stores. However, this is exactly what we loved about it! There is plenty of surf, sunshine and yoga, and for these gifts aplenty, we will return! :)

Troncones is a very small, safe beach village.
Troncones is a very small, safe beach village. There are some lovely hotels, but none are touristy! Great food in several restaurants! Loved La Mexicana chile rellenos and their grilled shrimp! The beaches are pristine, and we bodysurfed daily (families with kids need to pick their swim spot because some areas surf is big). Small local bus gets you to other parts of the area. Gorgeous big Iguanas in the trees!
The room we stayed in was absolutely beautiful. The photos do not do the property justice. Our room was perfect in every way; exceptionally clean, the view was magical, the buildings and interiors are designed so tastefully and we loved the open concept of the unit. The private tub on our balcony overlooking the ocean was the icing on the cake. Also, Lupita was very helpful: quick to respond and informative. She even arranged a taxi to take us from Troncones to the airport. Would highly recommend this facility.
Tres Mejures is a special place. It is very well loved and taken care of. The staff are always working hard to keep the grounds, the rooms, and the common areas very clean. We loved the grass and all the plants. Our room was adorable and had a great ocean view. We spent many hours sitting on our balcony and watching the waves. Breakfast was minimal but all we needed. Short walk to town and restaurants all around the hotel. We will stay here again if we come back to Troncones.
It has a beautiful garden where you can chill in hammocks. The kitchen is big, has a further away view for the sea, very clean and well equipped. The private room where I was staying also has a super nice design, details of decoration, huge bed and mosquito nets. Every day my room was cleaned. And this place is the cheapest in the whole Troncones area. The owners and really nice easy going people as well, I would repeat to stay there for sure.
Awesome little self-contained bungalow with all the required amenities and then some. Immaculately clean, secure, with outdoor rainfall shower (hot water), AC, cable TV, refrigerator, stove with all dinnerware, etc. and a whirlpool on the patio deck. Ocean view. The host, Lorena, couldn't have been nicer: personable, professional, and accommodating. Location near Playa La Majahua was a plus. Highly recommended.
Our best stop on our road trip to Mexico.
We indulge way much better quality in service, room decoration and comfort.. than the 5 stars hotels that we have visited on our 14 day trip.
Don't miss to sit by the chairs, right next to the ocean, under the coconut trees, to drink your morning coffee, hearing the sound of the ocean waves!
A must visit place...honestly!
The property is on a beautiful section of beach and has a nice pool and patio area. Great area to swim and boogie board in the ocean straight out from the house and lots of beach to walk. Housekeeper was sweet and kept the main areas very clean. Communication with host via Booking was good and check in timely.
I liked the locaztion. It was across the street from the beach, close to many restaurants and shopping. Friendly host and common area fun with other guests joining. Nice clean pool. I also like the iguana santuary behind the hotel where you can see them out during feeding hours. Pretty amazing.
Casa de la Costa is as nice as any boutique hotel at which I have every stayed. Everything was FLAWLESS! Pam is a dedicated host and answered my long stream of questions, giving me compete assurance that my visit to Troncones would be a wonderful experience.
We had an amazing time at Troncones point. The hosts were extremely kind and accommodative.
It is not on the water but with in a short walk to a really nice beach.
The place is clean and has a really nice vibe.
This is a super friendly place in a beautiful location and I would definitely recommend if you are going to Troncones. The nearby beaches are stunning and you hardly see a soul, especially Playa Majahua.
Restaurant quite good and provided all meals. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Accommodations were comfy and location provided ample privacy not available from most other hotels.
Great location right on the point of Majahua bay, clean and beautiful room, relaxed vibes and great people, and most affordable place to stay in troncones, highly recommend it.
We loved our stay here - it's a beautiful stretch of beach, with lovely landscaping, a large pool area with both sun and shade, and a great onsite restaurant.
