Location is key to be able to take their shuttle to the airport!
In Guadalajara’s financial center, this hotel is less than a 10-minute drive from Expo Guadalajara Convention Centre. It provides free parking, free Wi-Fi and an indoor pool with hot tub.

The location was perfect. It was within walking distance from food, a pharmacy and a mall that has a cinema. The hotel is very clean. The staff is very well organized and knowledgeable. The restaurant had a great staff and delicious menu options including the buffet. I highly recommend it and plan to stay there again.

Guadalajara is a beautiful city but as women travelling together we didn’t feel safe. Most people don’t speak English so have to use translation apps. Try and speak a bit of Spanish.
Beware of taxis and Ubers. Some in our party were picked up by Uber and robbed and left to get back themselves. The metro is easy to use.

A big city to explore the multiple beautiful towns near by.
A big city to explore the multiple beautiful towns near by. Most of the attractions here are in the historic center while most of the dining and entertainment is located in the Chapultepec neighborhood. Again Guadalajara is an excellent base for day trips the towns of Tequila, Ajijic, and the Chapala lake and of course Tlaquepaque.

Easy to get around. Interesting history.
Easy to get around. Interesting history. Lots of nearby towns and places to visit. I enjoyed a walking tour of the city, a day trip to Guachimontones (very interesting and unique ruins with circular pyramids) and a day of tequila tasting and tour of the Jose Cuervo Distillery in the city of Tequila.

This is my second visit to Guadalajara.
This is my second visit to Guadalajara. We stayed for 3 nights in Guadalajara. One in Central Guadalajara and 2 in Tlaquepaque.
The first night we went to Bruna Restaurant (modern Mexican) great food recommend. We then shopped in Andares mall. The next 2 nights were in Tlaquepaque, great place to wander around and see artisan, local products. We also drove to Tonala as I was looking especially for Mexican tile, Tonala cheaper than Tlaquepaque. But Tlaquepaque more picturesque and walkable.

Guadalajara is undeniably an intriguing city.
Guadalajara is undeniably an intriguing city. It boasts stunning historical landmarks, but also exhibits a significant number of deteriorated buildings. The culinary scene is exceptional, with a plethora of delightful restaurants to explore. There's no shortage of attractions, making it a unique destination worthy of at least a two-day visit.

The stunning architecture and walkable area with fountains, restaurants, shops, activities like karaoke, accessible churches, pleasant weather, and of course the very friendly, polite Mexican people. Saw a few people sleeping on street but much fewer than I see in Portland, Oregon. I’m glad I got to visit. The surrounding countryside with mountains and agave fields also lovely.
The most wonderful thing about this hotel are the staff, The lady who runs the room service and restaurant -I believe her name maybe Alejandra -thelady featured on their promo video. She was SO kind and helpful. I got very sick during our stay and she was such a help! Also the concierge boys Oscar and Edwardo and the Manager went out of their way to help us. We were robbed on the street in Guadalajara during our 8 night stay and we could not speak more highly of how attentive and helpful these staff members were.
The hotel is aesthetically gorgeous. The facilities are good. The room was incredibly spacious, and the bathroom was the best we'd had at any of the hotels we had stayed at in our nearly three weeks in México.
The staff at the hotel were helpful and understanding. We travelled as a group of three friends and the extra night in Guadalajara was essentially just a very long layover for us, and they were able to allow us three to a room despite it being set up for two (thankfully the bed was massive).
Nice classical building in a leafy street in Guadalajara.
Super pleasant check in experience, very proactive bell boy who stepped onto the street to grab our bags and parked our car. Our room was ready, we got welcome cocktails all in 10mn.
Sleek design, lush toiletries.
Room service prices are very reasonable, compared to similar category hotels, so that was a pleasant surprise. (we did not get time to try it though as it was an express visit)
All the staff was super nice
We loved the look of this beautiful old hotel and the location was great. We had an awesome room with a balcony. If someone is sensitive to noise, a front facing/balcony room isn't a good option. But we got a private concert each nice and fireworks so it was great. The breakfast was delicious and we were walking distance to anything we wanted to do in el Centro. We'll stay here again if we're lucky enough to return to GDL!
I was impressed with the cleanliness and modern feel of the hotel. I slept extremely well and the a/c worked great in my room. Hand sanitizing stations were prevalent and there was a functioning elevator. The location was superb as I could walk to Mercado San Juan de Dios (try 'La Torta Loca' there), Plaza de Armas, and any Zona Centro landmark. In the vicinity of the hotel you can find an Oxxo, 7-11, and many restaurants.
I have stayed here before and will keep going back. The hotel is wonderful and cute, the staff is super friendly and helpful, the rooms are great, the pool and bar are fantastic, the breakfast is more value than one would expect, the location is incredibly close to el centro and we were even able to book a taxi early in the morning to get back to the airport. Thank you!
Location was right in centro. Staff very helpful. Valet parking included in price. However the entrance to the hotel appeared to be on a pedestrian only street. So it was confusing at first. Lovely older hotel with rooms off a central two story foyer area. Standard room tho had no window
All the hotel staff was professional and kind to travelers needs. The hotel was also next to Guadalajara Airport and provided shuttle service to the airport. The room was clean, had a water bottles for every guest, and had an Air Conditioner and Heating system for comfort.
Great , convenient pet friendly hotel near the Tlaquepaque Centro. The owner Luis and his family were very accommodating and made us feel right at home sharing their kitchen ( with a delicious breakfast included) , yard and pet dog. Rooms were small but efficient.
I liked this modern hotel in Guadalajara, it was close to the historical center and the Metro. The room was spacious and very quiet. I have been there before X2. Everything was easy walking distance for me. Of course I like the fact there is a safe in the room.
The location in Centro Historical Guadalajara was exactly where I wanted to be. I was able to walk to the historical areas to see what I wanted and find many options for restaurants. My room was clean, and the bed and sofa were very comfortable.
The hotel was located in the best central point of the city with easy access to Cathedral, and other points of interests around the city and other small towns like Tequila, Mexico. The staff was very friendly, professional and very attentive.
I especially loved the shower 🚿. I’ve been traveling for almost a month in Mexico and I was staying in Airbnb’s where the showers was very week. Everything was very nice in the Quinta Don Jose Boutique Hotel.
I am a frequent guess with the Hotel in Guadalajara, and US. I normally have coffee, fruit and/or pastries. I have never been disappointed with the food or the room. Grateful for the free laundry.
New hotel/boutique in a great area of Guadalajara. Friendly staff, amazing decorations and comfortable stay all around. Will definitely stay here again!
