The owner is very friendly and can speak English and Spanish. He lives on the premises.
If you don’t want to go into town they make breakfast for you for an additional charge. He has told me that he is putting in air conditioning in most of the rooms.

Mazunte is the perfect combo of comfort and nature.
Mazunte is the perfect combo of comfort and nature. It’s very small but lively with shops and restaurants and the atmosphere remains quite and friendly. For even more tranquility I recommend spending the days on the beach at San Angustinillo, and heading back in town for dinner. Temazcal ceremonies at Kakao Kali are a must try if you’re on a healing journey. I was also happy to take a boat ride to see the dolphins and sea turtles.

This is a hip vibe place to be.
This is a hip vibe place to be. The busy streets, the beach goers. The constant revelry. This place is a Pueblo Magico so it has a standard that was met. Pueblo Magico towns offer an experience that is reflective in the most part to that area of Mexico. This town did not disappoint, but go down the road to Zipolite, and you will understand that the conformity of Mazunte, is pleasing to the eye and walk able (somewhat). The area's that seem pedestrian for the visitors are often used as service roads for vehicle traffic, and if you are from North of America, pediatricians have the right away. Not the case here, the car, or motorbike is king, stay to the side, and don't get lost in the karma of the place, because someone will be down your back in no time. Be careful.

Loved Mazunte by the beach!
Loved Mazunte by the beach! The beach area hotels are much quieter than the ones by the main road.
Good food is plentiful and easy to find.
Everyone gathers at the beach to watch the sunset!
Word of warning; come with pesos because ATM machines often run out of cash or are not working. Learned this the hard way.

We love this quaint little beach town.
We love this quaint little beach town. You are living each day with and like the locals. Grab some fresh fruit, local coffee, and local pastry treat and hang out on Main Street with the locals and enjoy the atmosphere.
The beaches are beautiful and not crowded although the current is quite strong in some areas. 2 beaches just 5 minutes away or another maybe 10 minute walk. Greet the spectacular sunrise each morning on the beach with sun salutations, yoga, jogging, swimming or enjoy a short boat ride to see whales, dolphins, turtles and msntarays. Sport fishing is available too,

Small beach town with not much going on besides beach,...
Small beach town with not much going on besides beach, tourist clothing shops and dining options. The ocean is beautiful but a bit rough at the time we visited in early November. You can rent an umbrella to have shade. There appeared to be a little night life on a few small roads leading to the beach but we didn’t go there for that so I can’t speak from experience.

Mazunte is best seen from the beaches.
Mazunte is best seen from the beaches. The town was not really our thing. It is not attractive unless you like dusty bohemian chaos. Great people watching. The beaches are beautiful. We found few fine restaurants (admittedly we did not sample all of the restaurants). El Copal was a gem.
We did not want to leave. You can sense how special this place is the moment you walk into the front door. The views are insane. They make everything so easy. You are catered to like you are a king and queen. There is a beautiful private beach area. The rooms are huge and have everything you may need. Salomon, the manager, is the nicest and most accommodating host. He made sure everyone at the hotel was welcomed and well taken care of. The area is just a hop skip to the downtown. I loved this place and will always remember this special place.
The perfect place to stay in mazunte. Tucked away from the main street and the perfect distance from the beach. So comfortable, clean and the fans worked a treat on hot days. Couldn't ask for more.
If you are lucky enough to stay here you will be lucky enough to meet one of the most amazing hosts, Paula. In a time of crisis for myself and partner miles and miles from home, Paula went above and beyond what any host ever would. A woman with infinite amounts of kindness. I will never forget my stay here.
The deluxe bungalow we upgraded to was fenomenal. We could cook our meals in our place, had an extra bed/sofa, an ac unit and many fans. Cleaning was offered every day by the sweetest lady who changed our sheets twice and gave fresh towels once during our week stay. It's very close to the beach. There is also a nice little patio in the common area where I could practice yoga under the manglar trees. It's a lovely place to stay in Mazunte 😃
We went at the end of May and stayed 2 nights. This hotel is absolutely beautiful! The views from our room were breathtaking and the outdoor shower was truly amazing. It’s very peaceful and secluded. The food was absolutely delicious and the staff was extremely accommodating (especially for our lack of Spanish).
The location is amazing right on a quiet part of the beach, with incredible view from the rooms and swimming pool.
The pool is wonderful, the food and cocktails are great.
This is a quiet hotel, people either go to bed early or go out in the other places accross the town.
It’s pretty relaxing!
We stayed 20 days (after 10 days in Oaxaca city). It is not too far from the beaches but far enough from the nightime noises. We slept really well due to quiet environment and effective ceiling fan and ac. Owner is kind and helpful. We highly recommend Casa Aldairis
Nice building with a small shaded courtyard. Rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. Bathroom, aircon and WiFi was working well. We appreciated the on-site cafe for breakfast. Great location, just a few minutes walk to Playa Mazunte and Rinconcito.
Location to Mazunte and other town beaches were great and walkable.
Room was great.
Free bottle of wine and ice as our honeymoon.
Quiet at nighttime. We were worried of a new bar opening being loud, but it was fine after 10.30.
Had a great stay at casa samay extending my trip in Mazunte, the room was clean and amazingly close to the beach. Casa samay also went out of there way to facilitate me checking in early and out late which was a massive help!
the rooms are brand new and everything works well. air conditioning, ceiling fan, TV. the pool was refreshing. the only issue was it seemed a bit pricey but we booked this place when leaving a different hotel that we hated.
Great location, great attention from the staff. One of the great things is that you sleep hearing the sea as you have it literally next door. Everyone from the hotel was super helpful (Except for the owner / manager)
Very clean.
The host is great and helpful.
Very safe.
Kitchen is great compare to mexico.
Location is great. Not on the main street - need to walk little bit, very quiet. Close to marmajita beach.
Wifi works good.
Beautiful apartment in a very calm and clean environment in the hills of Mazunte
The host was extremely caring and even helped me to organize a doctor coming to the hotel
We loved our stay here. Probably the best and most worthwhile place we stayed at in our trip in Mexico.
Clean, gorgeous rooms, friendly staff, stunning views!
The most beautiful and peaceful place we have stayed in Mazunte. Quiet, clean, safe, and with air conditioning and a kitchenette. Thank you for everything.
