We loved everything about this property! Secluded. Chill pool. Great food (yum breakfasts). Wonderful massage. Beautiful property. Surroundings feel like a movie set. Grounds and rooms are extremely well maintained & cared for! Lux linens & comfy beds. Roomy showers with solid water pressure. Had the best nights of sleep. We didn't want to leave the property (& didn't) once we arrived. Their morning guided meditation was a lovely way to start each morning. It was a short notice decision to stay at Amomoxtli & we're already making plans to return. Wish we knew abt it sooner. This property is a gem.

Tepoztlan is one of Mexico's Pueblos Magicos and as the name implies, it is MAGICAL. it's definitely the most picturesque and beautiful place I've been. The Zócalo (public square) has a market teeming with life and fun artisan goods. The streets are lined with old buildings and traditional handcrafts. The plants flower and the views from wherever you are are breathtaking. It's a quieter town, so don't expect a ton of nightlife, especially on weekdays, but if you're feeling overwhelmed by CDMX, a trip to Tepoztlan is exactly what you need to recharge your batteries. Be sure to stop at Tepoznieves for some ice cream, and grab a Sandia (watermelon) agua fresca from the Zócalo.
If you're a gringo like me, know that very few people will speak English. Learn some Spanish, or download Spanish on Google translate so you can communicate offline. Additionally, the streets are STEEP. my buddy's cheap Chingan rental car literally could not make it up the hills, and we likely killed the clutch on a single hill. Taxis seem to be bulletproof tho, no issues on hills.

Beautiful small town, make sure you wear confortable shoes, no heels, its hard to walk on the streets because they are made out of rocks.
I recomend to start your walk around early because there will be no vendors and you will be able to take the best pictures.
We started early around 7am, there was no vendors, we took some beautiful pictures.

The hotel is stunning, the view is beautiful, the food is amazing. The staff is rude and none responsive. The sheets were dirty. We could hear the people in the room upstairs all night. It is not a quiet place at all. It is impossible to sleep there. Too much noise.

The staff including the owner, Yonatan, went above and beyond. Minerva took care of our room and our breakfast. We were given other options for breakfast at a very minimal price. Minerva went to the extent of taking our clothes to the cleaners. Amazing attention to all our needs!!!
My stay at Casa Naâmja was exceptional. I had a wonderful stay and want to extend my gratitude to everyone at Casa Naâmja. The hotel is beautifully designed, the food is delicious and healthy, and the views looking out onto the pool or the courtyard or from the terrace are amazing. That being said, it's really the care and thoughtfulness shown by Josué and the staff that really took my stay to another level. I'm very grateful to them and hope to come back to stay with them again in the future!
Breakfast (and all food in general) was extraordinary! The staff was super helpful and efficient.
We got a room called "Bambu" (a master suite) next to the pool and separated from the other rooms, which was great for privacy. The hotel has very few rooms so it's a great place to relax and enjoy a calm weekend at Tepoztlan. The room had a private terrace on top with a wonderful view and we were able to have dinner there instead of in the restaurant. We will definitely come back.
The hotel is IMMACULATE. The bedding is extremely comfortable and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The grounds are kept in pristine condition, the pool is heated, and it is such a nice, relaxing environment. We were able to extend out checkout to 3pm by paying a fixed rate of 200 pesos per hour (after the 12pm checkout time). This was great for us as we could hang out by the pool on our last day! I'll definitely return with my mother and stepfather in a couple months.
This hotel is beautiful, boutique and immaculately manicured. It’s so clean and comfortable. The upstairs rooftop dipping pool is picturesque and pristine. The grounds are secure and beautiful. The staff was very warm, helpful and present but not overbearing. The hotels location to the town was also very close and easy to access. I will def be returning here!
The hotel is very nice and comfortable, everything very well maintained. Although staff is very friendly. We were in a master suite, with lots of space and a jacuzzi in the room. The terrace restaurant is very nice, with a great view of the mountains. Breakfast was good. The center of the city is within a few blocks from the hotel. I recomend it!
Beautiful, central relaxed small hotel, with a great quirky garden, nice pool, comfy room and a food breakfast. Lovely friendly staff and Marcos, the owner, went out of his way with good travel tips and interesting stories.
Plus they have a yoga room in the middle of the gardens, , if that's your thing.
From London, UK.
Food was delicious, although there was some confusion with ordering due to language. Service in general at the restaurant and throughout the hotel was excellent. They were very flexible with our changing travel plans.
The little hotel
Is very pretty the food is really good and the staff very nice they let us checked in early which was perfect because we arrived to Tepoztlan very early , i would definitely go back.
Pet friendly hotel, Catalina service was great! She was so nice and helpfull. The owner is a great person, and kind, but it isn’t enough if you hotel is so poor in some many things.
Only stayed 1 night, but the beds were comfortable and there was an amazing view from the hotel terrace of the mountainside. Close to everything, as Tepotzotlán is very small.
It’s a quite small boutique hotel which gave us that special feeling of staying at an uncle’s ranch. Very relaxing and calm place, with fantastic views over the mountains.
