Monterrey is a wonderful city, a bit hot sometimes but worth visiting. It has loads of amenities and places to go, and hosts the best private university in Latin America, Tecnológico de Monterrey. It is worth visiting town centre, Parque Fundidora, and eat "cabrito" in the various restaurants available.

Monterrey is a beautiful city with lots of things to see and do in and around the city. The Macroplaza is the cultural center of the city and there are many restaurants, museums, shops, and locals walking around the area. The Antigua area is across from the Macroplaza and there is the old part of the city with the Monterrey Cathedral and lots of shops and restaurants as well. On Saturday and Sunday the Antigua area has a few very good local flea markets. Also, Monterrey has a great subway system called the Metrorrey and its really easy to use and a very cheap way to get around this great city! I highly recommend Monterrey for any tourists who want to get some great Mexican food and culture that is only a 45 minute flight from Houston and a 3hour bus ride from the border. VIVA MONTERREY!

Monterrey is a very large industrial city with horrible traffic. Pollution is bad, and its not really a nice place to walk around. Yes, it has museums, and soccer stadiums, nice restaurants, like most cities with 6-8 million people, but unless you love crowded places I consider this a place to work, not to visit,

City is growing and there was a lot of complaints about trafic but we did not had any issue with it. The city offered good amenities like Luztopia, shoping, and had the 2 college football semifinals. We did like our stay.

Monterrey has incredible places to do trecking, or activities in nature. It has great restaurants, and nice views. A very local taqueria (24 hours service) is "Las Delicias", you have to try it!!!
Location, kind dedicated staff, rooms are very clean! I stayed here last year and I was pleasantly surprised this time that there is now enhanced security while taking the elevators… before that, you could access rooms from parking garage, now you need a guest key to access rooms. I love this hotel, it is amazing, great views of Cerro de la Silla, very comfortable. This is a gem of a hotel in Monterrey downtown, and I would gladly come stay here over and over again when visiting the city.
This property was beautiful! It maintained a Mexican feel with the tile work, art, and paintings. The smell of the fresh flowers when you first walked in was a perk as well. The staff was super nice, and the area felt very safe. I was extremely nervous to go to Monterrey (I’ve never been before) but now I want to go back with my kids! The restaurant in the hotel was wonderful!!! but there are also lots of choices right across the street as well.
The staff was very kind and immediately took care of things that needed to be fixed in my room
Special thanks to Cecilia, at the front desk, for promply attending my requests.
Thanks to all restaurant staff members for all their kind service.
Crown Plaza Hotel is in downtown Monterrey and the best quiet place to rest and relax.
Great value and high quality customer service.
We didn't wake up early enough to enjoy breakfast, but my husband and son were looking forward to make-your-own-waffles and bacon. Beds were comfortable enough. Internet was good enough for work and play. Location was great for us to drive through Monterrey on our way back to the US. We avoided downtown traffic.
Hotel Parque Central is located in downtown Monterrey near the city's central park. The rooms are basic, but clean, with a TV and decent Wi-Fi. The location is fine, but I wouldn't stay in this area of Monterrey on my next visit; I'm sure there are nicer areas of the city.
I was pleasantly surprised by the size and the quality of the hotel
The ladies at reception were very nice and helpful
The room was big and very spacious
The breakfast is simple but good - it can be taken in the dining room and brought to the room
The Hotel Ancira is a classic hotel. One of the reasons why I love Monterrey. Filled with history and elegance. The hotel is always a quiet haven from the commotion of a cosmopolitan city. I love the understated opulence and attention to detail.
The breakfast is good and is close to my destination. I highly recommend it to people who need to go downtown or near. Many restaurants, banks, pharmacies and taquerias close to the hotel. Hotel staff is great.
Pool area and services was great, it´s super good you can order directly using whatsapp. Its a plus to have Reys bar at the bottom of the hotel, food and drinks are great complement for your stay.
The location is perfect for visiting the central area of Monterrey. There are many restaurants and shops selling all kinds of products so close to the hotel. The staff are kind and friendly.
the location was perfect, great access to the metro, the macroplaza, and the main shopping malls in el centro. everyone who worked at the hostel spoke english as well as obviously spanish.
New facility, nice rooms, small coffee pot in our room, very clean, nice bedding helpful staff. This is the best hotel I have stayed in in Mexico! Wonderful experience!
