The food was good to very good. Personal chef and waiter. The cost also included breakfast and accesscto the site attractions.
I stayed for lunch at the on-site restaurant (colonial building opposite). This is a must.
I had only planned one night here but next time I am in Mauritius, I will stay longer. Well done, staff.

The 2 bedroom house is big - I felt like a king with the property to myself for a whole month

I set up a yoga mat in front of the TV and had my own yoga studio for the entire duration (Highly recommended!)

The hosts were amazing, super helpful even when our flight changed and we only arrived after midnight. The apartment had coffee and tea and water, which was very nice. Breakfast was available for an additional charge and it was very nice.

We won’t aware that the transport from combo to the hotel was at an extra cost. Rs150 rupees one way is a bit much. Someone could have rung us nearer the time and explain. If we knew we would of took our own transport and go up to the hotel. As once we arrived, a guy with a 4x4 stop us and asked if we are going to l’exil and to get in the 4x4. No one at anytime mentioned we should pay for this. I think we got a bit dupe there.
Following this, we did not order dinner before hand as we wanted to know what’s on the menu before doing so. However, there wasn’t enough choice for the dinner and no where it was communicated. We finally agree to have dinner as there’s nothing else around and we will have starve. Service was good, nice staff and nice food but the portion is small for big eaters and no option for asking for more and it’s better to communicated your allergies and food requirements before hand as else there’s nothing.
As for the attraction, we would like to have a véranda with the room. We felt trap between 4 walls when there’s a beautiful view outside our room that we could of enjoy.
