We stayed just one night, but we wished we could stay longer. The desert camp was great! Our tent was big enough for four people and had really comfy beds and a private bathroom with a shower. The staff were really nice and even gave us some food when we arrived. Dinner was super yummy, especially the tagine. After dinner, we had lots of fun with a fire and music. Breakfast was the best, with kefta tagine, and then we tried sandboarding, which was so much fun! The staff made sure we had the full desert experience. Thanks for everything!

Merzouga Bio Camp, hotel in Tisserdmine

Offering garden views, Merzouga Bio Camp in Merzouga features accommodations and a garden.

Our visit to Morocco was rendered complete by the uniquely captivating experience at the Merzouga Bio Camp. We had the privilege of spending one mesmerizing night in May under the expansive desert skies, cocooned in the heart of the Merzouga dunes. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by Hassan, who immediately put us at ease with his hospitality. As we arrived amidst a swirling sandstorm, a welcoming cup of tea was the perfect gesture of warmth. Hassan's help was especially appreciated when our car got stuck in the sand, demonstrating his extraordinary commitment to his guests. The camp, despite being in the middle of the desert, provided a clean and comfortable room, serving as a soothing sanctuary after our adventurous journey. As expected in such an environment, resources were naturally scarce, with limited water and no Wi-Fi. But hey, we were in the desert, and the lack of modern amenities only added to the authenticity of our desert experience. The location of the camp is second to none, nestled amidst the towering dunes of Merzouga, reachable by an hour's camel ride into the desert. The dinner served at the camp was a memorable highlight, with a savory spread of vegetable tajine and grilled chicken that left us fully satisfied.

Sunrise Sahara Camp, hotel in Tisserdmine

Offering a garden, Sunrise Sahara Camp offers accommodations in Merzouga. Guests staying at this luxury tent have access to a terrace.

It was like a dream! We are a family of 4. The hosts had good communication of meeting point and were prompt. Due to sand storm, we took the 4x4 into the camp instead of camel ride. The kids were thrilled when the driver went over the dunes! The dinner was really great (not another tanjin :p). The after dinner fireside music and chat were also great! The next morning we woke up at 5:30AM for a sunrise camel ride to make up for the missed sunset ride yesterday. Everything was perfect :)

Jardin Kotori Luxury Camp, hotel in Tisserdmine

Offering garden views, Jardin Kotori Luxury Camp in Merzouga provides accommodations, a garden, and a shared lounge. There's free private parking, and the property offers paid airport shuttle service....

Our stay was made exceptional by the friendliness and warmth of Ali and his family! The camel ride to the campsite, watching the sunset, and being welcomed by Ali family, delicious Berber cuisine, and enjoyable Berber music were highlights. The rooms were chic and comfortable, with hot water and a toilet. Waking up to a beautiful sunrise and having breakfast was amazing. I recommend bringing warm clothes for winter as there's no heating. I highly recommend it for a unique experience!

magical Berber camp, hotel in Tisserdmine

A recently renovated luxury tent, magical Berber camp offers accommodation in Merzouga. With quiet street views, this accommodation provides a balcony.

We had a magical trip with Ismail and the crew. A month before, I messaged them and then texted on WhatsApp. I picked the camel sunset safari and the 4x4 morning tour as extras. I brought cash to pay. We met the guys and headed out on our camels with one other family. We met up with more camels going to our camp on the trek. When we got there we had dinner and they lit a fire outside. They played some DJ songs and we danced around the fire before starting the traditional drumming songs which ended at around 11pm. It was a great time, all of the guys worked together to make sure everyone had a fun time. Definitely recommend!
