The nearby Lixus ruins dating back to the Carthaginians were an archeological gem, especially when toured with a local guide. But Earache itself is worth exploring...as an authentic Moroccan city not polished up for tourists. Wandering the media gave me a true feeling for how people live.

Larache is a small city.
Larache is a small city. The people here are very kind and welcoming. I loved the beach especially watching the sunset. The architecture is vry historical and the city is clean. I find Larache a beautiful city overall! I recommend a 1-2 day trip to this city.

A very pretty town, with both old blue and white Spanish colonial buildings. Larache is often overlooked in favour of Asilah. There are less tourists here, so it feels more authentic. The beach is a long stretch of Atlantic Ocean and has a lovely promenade to stroll on. People are very laid back and friendly here. We came specifically to see the ancient Lixus, one of the oldest Phoenician sites in North Africa. It’s just a 10 minutes drive from the centre of Larache. It’s easy to get around here, petit taxis are frequently driving through the town and are cheaper than elsewhere in the country.
The stay in Larache with Yousef was absolutely great. An smooth check-in, with him sending us directions in advance and communicating with us every time we had a question. His road is well-equipped and the breakfasts in the rooftop an absolute delight. What to say about Larache? For us the hidden gem of the country. You won't find a lot of visitor in here. Mostly local tourists and daily life going its way. Compared to busy towns like Asilah or Martil, Larache is a charming oasis of peace with an incredible beach to relax.
Travel in time in this authentic house right in the center of Larache! You will be very warmly received by Hassan and Fatima. At the huge dining table you will taste local delicacies, hear tales of the past and insights in the present Moroccan life, but you'll also meet other fellow travellers, chance encounters that make travelling so enriching. Enjoy the surprisingly comfortable vintage decor, the panoramic view from the rooftop terrace and above all, the warmth and hospitality of the owners.
I paid 274 euros for one night!! Extremely expensive for what it is! I chose the room with the balcony but I had no view ! The hit was not working bad it is insane in the middle of the summer.
The hotel is all inclusive but you have to pay 4 euros if you want a Fresh orange juice for breakfast!!!! I don’t expect this when I pay 274 for one night !
I don’t recommend at all this hotel, or at least talking about my own experience..
Fatima and Hassan are wonderful! We stayed one night at their place and they treated us at best, much better than any expectation we might have.
They are very beautiful people and the house is faboulus, and they really make you feel home!
Breakfast and food was also amazing, definitely a place to stay when in Larache and totally worth it :)
it has good views of the Atlantic and the rooms are big. the best thing was the outsourced event planner called ANIMATION they conducted activities for the kids and adults on poolside all day long. They were engaged with guests and very hard working. We wish the hotel’s own staff had same love for their jobs.
It’s a nice riad style hotel in lively medina but at quiet area. Building is renovated and decorated in traditional style, rooms are very charming and comfortable. The owner and staff are very friendly and helpful. I stayed there for a business trip but also could enjoy relaxing holiday atmosphere here.
Rooms are very big, very clean and a nice bathroom
The entertainment team was the best, hard workers and very nice. We had a great time.
I think one of the best hotels in the area, keep up the good work
Best location and only hotel with a view to the beach and river. Breakfast in the terrace and very friendly staff makes it unique. Very clean and near the Culture Centre and famous Lexus cafe
It’s one of the best places i have ever seen in my life. I love the morrocan heritage very much, you can feel that every where in this house. It’s not just a hotel it’s a way of life.
- good food
- animation did their best to make everyone feel comfortable and happy (special thanks to Rizki and Youssef)
- calm vibe (maybe because hotel was not full)
