It was a very nice stay at this property which was bordering the Sinharaja Forest and it was simply the "Forest Edge". 🙂 Did not expect such professional service, which exceeded our expectations. The manager/owner was very helpful and offered free jeep transport by contacting us prior to our arrival. However, our van reached the hotel garden without much issue. The limited staff did a wonderful job taking care of everything, especially the young lady coordinated everything perfectly. Meals were delicious and served without delay. Good wifi was a luxury considering the remoteness of the location. They had two wifi networks, and both were available with good speed.

Our host Prasad and his family made our stay a wonderful memory on our third Sri Lanka adventure. The room is spacious, clean and close to the rainforest entrance. Stayed only two nights, its without doubt the best place I've stayed in a long time. Rooms are modern and clean with a large wall overlooking the mountain....its quiet, peaceful, beautiful, full of wildlife, no traffic, people....its nature at its best. I00% recommend staying here if you want peace and quiet in your life. I will be back as soon as possible. Salman cares for his guests and is very considerate.

We had an absolutely amazing experience with Prasad as our guide in the rainforest. He was very passionate and enthusiastic. He showed us various endemic species of birds, insects, plants and reptiles. We saw monkeys and beautiful waterfalls. Afterwards we enjoyed tea at his beautiful accommodation. Will definitely be staying there in the future when we return! Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Great place to stay. Situated in very close proximity to one of the entrances of Sinharaja. Calm place with a nice surrounding, facing Ginganga. Place is newly done, clean rooms with hot water and A/C. Hosted by a very warm welcoming family. Food was excellent in both quality and quantity and was also reasonably priced. Breakfast chosen was Sri Lankan, and had a delicious home cooked meal. They also arranged a tour guide (Ms.Inoka) for our forest visit. Who also did a very good job. Over all a very positive experience. Our only concern was the condition of the road heading to the forest. It may look scary at the first but you can easily access it up until the hotel

What an amazing rooms! So much light, space and comfy beds. The host is very very chill and kind, helps you out with anything and is an official national guide, so he will take you on the tour. We extended the moment we saw the room. The view is perfect. Every meal was one to look forward too. The rice and curry were a little different every time, so new tastes every time. We had them for lunch and dinner, twice. We did a 3h tour in the forest and we really enjoyed it. We got plastic covers and lots of salt on our shoes to keep the leaches off. We had a great time :) one of the best places we stayed. Would have stayed longer if we could.
