C Beyond is truly an exceptional beachside hotel. Eric and his staff were attentive to our every need and prepared beautiful meals. We were so content just lounging on our balcony or taking a walk on the beach that some of our group didn’t even leave for three days. We stayed at Amanta Beach Resort for two nights and wished we would have stayed for a week! The property is beautiful and private but close enough to Nilaveli & Trinco that you could take a Tuk Tuk if you needed to. The rooms were spotless, beautiful, and everything worked perfectly (including the air con). As previous reviewers have said, the beach is your own little private slice of paradise. We were there a few weeks before the heavy season, so the seas were a bit rough, but we spent many hours lounging in the chairs on the sand! The food was amazing too! We had dinner one night and it was one of the best meals that we've had on our year abroad. The owner/chef comes out and explains everything and tells you where he got the ingredients from (mostly his on-site garden). Shyakthi and his staff make this place what it is! They all go above and beyond to make sure you're enjoying yourself and that you're comfortable. They put a lot of time and energy into the entire experience and it shows. There is a reason this hotel is rated 9+ on Booking and you should definitely come see for yourself!

The hotel was perfect as it was located right on the beach and this part of the beach was so quiet, it was like having your own private beach! The best thing about this hotel were the staff - they were the best staff that I have encountered in hotels in my various trips! So helpful, attentive and making your stay as comfortable as possible. Our host Rashan was amazing! Very welcoming and making sure we had everything we needed! He helped us with some extra cleaning of the room, a great (requested) Sri Lankan breakfast en even taking Euro’s instead of national currency. Thank you for you hospitality and great service!
