I loved the hospitality that I received there. The owner of the lodging went above and beyond in making sure that I was comfortable and provided for. Today I left early for my pilgrim walk and did not have breakfast. The lady sent me a message and brought me the food and additional lunch 30 km away. She just did it out of the kindness of her heart. She did not need to do that, but she did.
It was also raining yesterday and I did not want to leave the room. she brought me lunch on her own initiative.
She is smiley and helpful and kind and the place is super clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay there again and highly recommend this accommodation for anybody.

Location was excellent, right at Harimayabashi and on the streetcar lines. We did not eat at the hotel, but found lots of local restaurants in the immediate area within easy walking distance. The hotel feels new or at least recently refurbished.
