Good location for sightseeing in Yamaguchi! Akane was incredibly helpful and friendly, and we had the BEST evening at the local restaurant!!! Loved the traditional tatami room!

Very beautiful ryokan near the Hagi Castle Town with free parking. We booked a Japanese-style corner room for 3 nights and had a large garden to ourselves. The garden in the common area is also very beautiful esp at night. We opted for half board our entire stay and were very impressed with the food! The menu was different every time and we found ourselves anticipating what they’ll serve for the next meal. One of the meals they served was an all-puffer fish meal, which is arguably one of the best and most unforgettable meals of my life. The staff were also very warm and helpful up until the very moment we left. Definitely worth making the trip to Hagi just to stay here.
I loved the location on how close things are in Nagato.
I loved the location on how close things are in Nagato. We were able to visit some of the top tourist attractions in one day. It rain our first day here which made it a little hard to take good pictures but it was still amazing

Very rulal, but beautiful environment.
Very rulal, but beautiful environment. The train station unattended station. When you leave the train you show your ticket to the train operator. I thought this was interesting but it's worked fine. Only one car train goes there and it is a single track rail station.
If you are planning to visit Tsunoshima, this is too far from there. It took over one hour by taxi and costed over 12,000 yen. Came back from Tsunoshima by train and bus took over hour as well. The transportation schedule is very hard since there is not much train and bus goes to Nagato.
