At the entrance of Kumano-Kodo, Miyoshiya Ryokan offers Japanese-style rooms, bicycle rentals and free Wi-Fi at the lobby. It’s a mere 5-minute stroll from JR Kii-Tanabe Station, and features a garden and vending machines. Facilities include laundry facilities and free parking. Ryokan Miyoshiya is a 20-minute drive from the Minamikata Kumagusu Archives (Kenshokan), while JR Osaka Station is 2 hours by train or car. Rooms feature a Japanese interior with a tatami (woven-straw) floor and a low table with seating cushions or a kotatsu leg-warming table in winter.
