Has a very cozy co-sharing space and the sleeping cubicles were so comfortable and spacious. Everything was well designed, even the bathroom and toilets. So even if it may be small for some people, the space is well utilized. And the caretaker Daisuke is very considerate and attentive. Would highly recommend it for solo travellers or travelling couples. Plus there's also an amazing traditional Japanese sweet shop nearby the accommodation (next to a post office), and a shopping mall full of restaurants, shops (and a train station) about 1km away. So the location is quite convenient, without being too central.

The host is really great, knows a lot about the neighborhood and will help you with everything. The location itself is a 15 minute walk from the kita-senju station. The neighborhood itself is very peaceful, slower paced than the rest of Tokyo with a lot of good rasturants/izakayas/bars in the area.

My stay was very comfortable. This place is located a little away from the metro (15 minute walk) in a quiet neighborhood. Everything os still reachable including Tokyo. I was recovering from feeling I’ll in Tokyo and needed a place where I could spend some down time. I got really great rest here. There were not too many guests which I liked and it has a vibe where everyone seems to be respectful and quiet, still with the opportunity to socialize if you wish. The owner is super friendly and accommodating. Everything was very clean. I extended my stay to maybe 5 nights to catch up on rest. I would definitely come back.

The guesthouse is nestled in a safe, quiet neighbourhood in Kita Senju. I enjoyed the peaceful and leisurely walk back to the dorm and could find my way without google maps after 2-3 nights. The host, Daisuke, is pleasant, sincere and friendly. The guesthouse is warm and cosy and feels like you’re staying in a friend’s house. The water is hot when you shower and there is a microwave to heat up food from convenience stores. Best of all are the mix of international travellers you meet during the stay here. All of us hung out in the common area for some nights and it was lovely to meet people from different countries and backgrounds. Would definitely recommend to the solo backpacker or traveller ✨

Situated in a nice neighborhood, and definitely helped with the experience of the trip beyond the usual Tokyo tourist places. Nice welcoming atmosphere if you want to be social but can also be just a good place to rest. There's a kanji book on the common area.

The location that was a little bit outside of Tokyo permits the one that want to walk, to do so. Ueno is at one hour by walking. Moreover, there are loads of things to do near the place. The price that was cheap is also a really good point. Furthermore, the staff was lovely. The living room was really cosy, just as the bed and the blanket. If you want to stay in a kind of traditional place, this is the good location to look for, with shōji, and a lot of wood everywhere.

The Guest house is in a nice location, fairly close to the station. It's also very easy to reach all the main Tokyo destinations from there. It's great if you need a place for a few nights, and the host is very friendly and helpful.
