Loved the "happy hour" every afternoon. They had options of juice for non-drinkers which was appreciated, on top of the regular coffee machines.
Hotel was very conveniently located and we chose it on recommendation from our dive shop, Prime Scuba. Room was spacious and I was very grateful for the washing machine and drying rack. We did not require the daily room cleaning as we only stayed 2 nights, but we did see the cleaning staff everyday diligently working on other rooms.
If you use the bus it's only a few minutes walk around the corner from the hotel, otherwise the hotel has parking available for your car. I do not know if there's an additional fee as my husband and I mainly took taxis. The front reception was always very helpful in helping us call for a taxi.
Would highly recommend this hotel.

The hosts are very kind, they are so open minded and friendly to help us. We got watermelon, the special cakes, and the grandma’s extremely delicious homemade somenchanpuru(the Okinawa’s typical food). All the equipments in the house are clean and good. The people there are so nice, I had best sleep there and a lot of good memories which makes me wanna come back next time. Thanks so much!

The hotel room was very clean and I liked the overall atmosphere! There was even a washer and dryer in the room. The coffee and drinks available in the lobby were also very good. The location was very convenient as it is a 20-minute walk or short drive to the ferry terminal/downtown area. However, the very best part was the owner and staff, who were incredibly generous and kind. We hope to visit here again next time we visit Ishigaki.

Most of the island's attractions - shopping, restaurants, hotels, the port to access other islands and the airport bus - are within a two minute walk of each other. I didn't visit the attractions outside of the centre because I didn't have a car and the local buses didn't run frequently but I had lots to do nonetheless. Took a very enjoyable day trip to Taketomi Island.

The accommodation offered a breathtaking view of coral reefs with a lush jungle as its backdrop. We spent our days walking down to the nearby beach, enjoying swims and snorkelling adventures in the warm waters. Our host even took us on a tour where he showed us clownfish, adding a layer of wonder to our stay. If you're a nature enthusiast yearning for a tropical escape that connects you with the natural world, this place is an absolute paradise.

I liked that you can get around in short time and still have a big variety of things you can do. I was there in Feb and no watersports was possible for me as it was too cold. Went to Karibe for a walk and to Iriomote for a bike ride.

A beautiful island, which is surprisingly big as it takes about 3 hours / 120km to drive the ourter circumference.
Once you get outside of the main town it is exceedingly quite, with beachtiful beaches and countryside.
A car is a must!
The main town has easy access by boat to other remote islands. Taketomi was only about 15 minutes away, with stunning beaches, a good bike rental service with shuttle bus from the port and ox-cart rides!

Ishigaki has a lot to offer. It's small enough that you can see it all in one stay but it's also varied to make you want to come back.
The North coast is unspoiled. The beaches are never crowded. Some like Yonehara have showers.
You can relax and refresh. It's an ideal place for families or couples.
There is a wide range of eateries and lovely souvenirs like shells, textiles, cosmetics and tofu chips!

Josh, a serial hotel management expert, and his staff are extremely helpful in giving us tips to get around the island. Even for visitors like us who came to Ishigaki several times in the past, those tips were helpful. The location can’t be better. Beach is just in front of the hotel. Access to the nearby mangrove river is easy by kayak or SUP. You must try their Rigatoni and Sunday galette. Best on the island.
Booked this hotel last minute due to an incoming typhoon, for the price I was amazed at the quality! Extremely comfortable and amenities were perfect.
The bed was so comfy, I slept amazing!
Great view from the balcony!
Helped with the stress of typhoon with comforts.
Family Mart is 5mins walk.
Izakayas are 10mins taxi/15mins bus away with plenty of delish options.
The room was a great size, beds were comfortable and the room was very clean. This hotel is close to the port, which is why we booked it. It's also close to shops and restaurants. They make you fresh rice balls for breakfast, which was wonderful and they were delicious. Would happily stay here again, very good value for money.
They offer many little extras for free. You can borrow bicycles. The lounge area is very nice, with free drinks and a selection of interesting picture books. Almost as close to the beach as the ANA Intercontinental, but for a fraction of the price. The staff were very helpful when we had questions about the local area.
Everything about the property was breathtaking. The rental was super clean and well equiped for a smooth and luxury stay. We enjoyed dinner at their restaurant and it was nothing short of gracious, mouth watering dishes. The ambiance from both the house and restaurant are thrilling. Loved it. 10/10 i would recommend.
for the price, it can’t be beat. breakfast was WAY better than the ANA Intercontinental Ishigaki. it’s def an older property, no real frills, but great view out the window. I would not stay here if you don’t have a car. It is far from everything and not much is around in terms of off site restaurants and such.
Really nice hotel, near a lovely sand beach with amazing water. The swimming pool is great, and the Kupukupu restaurant inside the hotel serves great food at a decent price. The staff is always nice and here to help (be that to book a taxi, rent a car, etc.). We've had a great time staying there!
The best thing about this hotel is the location. It is right next to the bus terminal and in front of the ferry terminal as well. There may be some new rooms but ours was quite dated and I bet it used to be a smoking room a few years ago. Recommend it purely for the location.
Simple, but comfortable Tatami-room with Futon-bedding. Very clean. The host, Yamamoto-san was very welcoming and helpful. She shared a lot of useful information and prepared wonderful breakfasts, both Japanese and Western style. We had a lovely time in this hotel.
The location was excellent. Property was very nicely decorated and very clean. Beds were super comfortable. Private parking was an absolute plus. That is hard to get in Japan. The communication with the host was outstanding. I always received really quick replies.
The location of the hotel is fantastic, as is the free snack and drink bar available every afternoon and evening. Several different sakes were available, as well as Japanese whisky, sakura-flavored liqueur and a variety of teas, coffee, juices and snacks.
This is the first hotel I've ever stayed in that has free alcohol. I don't drink much, but tasting new beer every day was fun. Everything else was good. Location is great if you come from the airport by bus. Staff was very helpful and nice.
Very convenient little hotel next to the port and bus station. Very clean with washing machine available. Host and hostess very helpful, providing take away breakfast as we left on the early ferry. Would stay again.
The GM, Josh, was always there to give a lot of great recommendations about Ishigaki island. All other staffs were very friendly too.
The food was great. We spent 4 nights and had dinner every single night there!
Really friendly staffs!
laundry access,Many complimentary amenities… even face masks!
Really clean rooms.
10m to access the fancy Okinawa food and bars. We loved here!
The hotel is next to the Ishigaki port. Near the Main Street. The traffic is very convenience. All the waitresses are nice and kawaii. Communicate in English is ok.
I’ve stayed many times at this hotel. location is great and if you have kids, there’s so much to do on the property that in theory you never have to leave.
