I first must say the staff was very welcoming, friendly and very professional. They keep a watchful for the arrival of their clients and avail themselves from your arrival to departure to make you feel welcomed.
The property was close to the town, it overlooked the sea and when I was in the room I rarely heard road noises though we were right by the road. The room was modern and very clean and the complex has was and felt very safe. AC was “AC-ing”. And lastly, the view is just something you just have to experience. Especially when the sun is setting in the distance accross the bay.
Btw, the bed was comfy and the pillows were very nice and comfy too

I am not so much a fan of Port Antonio town but the area of Portland is my favourite as it’s so beautiful and peaceful. I always stay longer in the part of the island as it’s so wonderful to come from a big city like a London to this peaceful paradise.

We didn't spend a lot of time in the town of Port Antonio, but did have a delicious fish and lobster dinner at Roots 21. We mostly went to the beaches near fairy hill and Zion hill. Taxis are plentiful but we chose to use Polish Princess charter service as it was raining and or dark when we went out for dinner.

The main problem being in port Antonio is transportation if you are not driving. because it is not a tourist area like montego Bay or Negill, you may have difficulty reaching there or when you are Leaving!! I have been here about six times now And that is the biggest problem. There are great restaurants here with great food food along the area near Boston beach. Even though the jerk centers are not always that greatest according to reputation. the jerk restaurant right at the Boston beach Guest house entrance was excellent also also Rocky's fried chicken was good. I don't recall the names of a few of the other restaurants!!

Port Antonio is very charming place to visit in Jamaica.
Port Antonio is very charming place to visit in Jamaica. The town itself is very lively, and the surrounding area has lots of outdoor attractions do including, Frenchmans, cove, blue Lagoon, horseback riding, and more.
Be aware, however, that the roads are rough! There was construction going on as of late November 2023 when we visited. So we were stuck in bumper-to-bumper traffic at one point while they closed the road. There is only one main road and one lane each direction so getting around takes some time, even tough the distance between attractions may seem short.
Also have your wits about you when interacting with street vendors, they may overcharge you. So ask for prices upfront and calculate your total before handing over any cash. We got ripped off and wound up paying $1,000 JMD for a fritter, Callaloo and breadfruit but it was our fault for not double checking the total.

I love the parish of Portland and always enjoy being in Port Antonio. Decent, kind, welcoming people and the many attractions to visit and beaches to visit.
I am just hoping they fix the roads sooner than later.
Toga is a welcoming guest house in a nice location next to Boston Bay, handy for Reach Falls, Port Antonio and some of Jamaica's loveliest beaches. There was a good included breakfast and the option to have evening meals. Alfio (the friendly Italian owner) is also a DJ and on Sunday evenings hosts a vinyl reggae revival sound system locally at nearby Drapers. This is well worth going to. We enjoyed our stay and considered it to be a good value option.
Marie is a wonderful host and this place was amazing. I would say it’s the nicest place I’ve stayed in Port Antonio ans maybe even Jamaica too, and I’ve stayed in many places. Just lovely and clean, spacious, everything you need and some lovely little touches and attention to detail. Love the outside area where you can cook and eat. Just fabulous and I wish I could have spent longer there.
The location of the bungalow was good it was in good driving proximity for all the hype areas such a blue lagoon and Boston Beach etc. the staff was very welcoming and are easily reached because someone is always on site just in case you had concerns at any given time. I like that hot water was available for showering.
Been to Port Antonio more than 5 times, love it PA!! Good location for beaches!! Rocky's chicken restaurant had great food, there's a produce stand at the end of the road to buy items to cook! The host offered ackee from the trees in the backyard which we had for breakfast about 4 times! Also coc
This is a well maintained, clean, secure and quiet guest house in a beautiful location with ample parking. The included breakfasts were delicious. The owner of the guest house Barbara was gracious, knowledgeable and accommodating.
I would definitely stay here again when in the Port Antonio area.
The staff was amazing and did everything to help us. They helped to get a transportation and a driver to take us around. They made us feel very well. The Hotel is close to Knutsford Express Station (max. 10 min drive) and like 20-2
30 min driving feom the most important sights.
The apartment is located in the hills above Port Antonio but not far from the town centre and was therefore near enough to everything one may need during a stay.
It also contained the comforts of home, eg, a full kitchen with all the essential appliances.
It was a trip for my birthday. And celebrated with new friends just made. https://youtu.be/4V9SxlBRhSc
The staff makes you feel like family....the pool view is amazing...and the room is one of the best. French Cove was a very cozy crystal clear beach.
Great hotel with superb staff and service. Food was top notch. Black Mountain coffee, everything made to order using finest ingredients and brought to table. Palatial buildings in beautiful grounds
Staff are very friendly and totally dedicated.
This cheap little guest house above Port Antonio was immaculately clean, the bed comfy. The Wi-Fi never quit. The fridge was cold enough to freeze water and the microwave was very convenient. It was better than I expected for such a cheap price.
A great place to stay with necessities within walking distance. The beach being just down the road was an excellent addition to the deal. The hosts were very accommodating. Would book again.
The facility was spacious, clean and comfortable. We loved exploring Port Antonio! The people were great, and there was quite a bit within walking distance Excellent jerk to be had at Piggys
