Check in was easy. I liked that there was a lock box and the pictures to describe where to park and how to get in. Free parking was a bonus. Outstanding views, especially up on the second level. The kitchen was well equipped. Nice to have a market so close. Very light and bright and clean. Much quieter side of the lake despite the road. Good walking paths in both directions.

The property was beautiful and location is just a 5 minute walk to town. Staff are all very professional and helpful. They packed us a snack when we checked out early. We had a garden superior room, which is a separate duplex type structure with a lounge facing the lake.

Hotel Excelsior Splendide is an Art Nouveau building of 1907. It is set on Bellagio's lakeside promenade, right in front of Lake Como and a short walk from the ferry harbor.

This is not a hotel It’s a restaurant with a couple rooms for rent No coffee or soaps 5 flights of stairs to get to your room and you had to carry your own luggage Outside door falling off the hinges couldn’t use the outside deck because the shutters had fallen off and blocked the chairs Staff on site very loud until 1: 30 am and back making noises at 6:00 am The staff is there for the restaurant not the hotel

The resort was outstanding and we had a wonderful time. The view from our room was exceptional. The reception staff were very helpful in suggesting restaurants. The restaurant staff were very attentive.
