You must have an electronic map on a cell phone to survive.
You must have an electronic map on a cell phone to survive. There are too many alleys and sidewalks that serve as streets that cannot be listed on a paper map, so it is very easy to get lost. Accommodations are outrageously expensive.

Venice during the Biennale is wonderful.
Venice during the Biennale is wonderful. The Biennale needs 2 maybe 3 days( it’s 2 locations) but the city has múch more to offer on art, theatre and music. I booked 2 extra days because I was not ready to leave. ( despite some rain ) And I didn’t do any of the tourist attractions this trip. Venice is very entertaining , has grèat food and I will come back for sure!

Some of the best things, the huge Venice Art Biennale runs from late April to Nov every two years. Now in 2024 it is the 60th edition. The quietness when you step away from the main tourist areas. The feeling of safety and security as you wonder home on the tiny streets and alleys. The beauty of the city on the water

Venice was amazing!
Venice was amazing! While seeing the historical attractions is a plus, just walking along the canals and eating at the Ristorantes was so relaxing and felt as if you where in another world. The Florian Cafe while expensive should be done at least once! The green area/parks in Castello is a must as well as a Gondola ride, however if you are expecting your Gondolier to sing to you, think again; you need to hire a someone to do that!

Best place in Venice is Marco Polo airport, to get out as quick as possible.
Where do I begin. This was our best stay in Italy. The apartment was spacious for the 4 of us. The staff Elisabetta was so friendly and responded to us immediately when we had questions. It was very convenient to walk from the hotel to San Marco Square and other areas. There were a few restaurants and bar nearby too. Breakfast was prepared one day ahead and topped up for the next day (cereal, milk, biscuits, yogurt etc.). They also had a small game room filled with board games and some books we could borrow during our stay.
I had the pleasure of staying in this charming and intimate hotel in an absolutely fantastic location. It's just a 3-minute walk from the water taxi station, a mere minute from St. Mark's Square, and the gondola stop is conveniently right outside. The hotel boasts a unique style that beautifully captures the essence of Venice. The rooms are not only stylish but also impeccably clean, a rarity in Italy. The prime location added to the overall enjoyment of my stay. It was truly perfect, so I extend my sincere thanks!
We started our two week honeymoon in Italy at Campiello Zen with three nights in Venice. The room was super clean with a great shower and lovely antique touches; the common area has an awesome patio and full kitchen and the location is very central but in a quiet neighborhood. The BEST part of this B&B is the host Andrea! He provided us an amazing walking route through Venice, tons of local recommendations, made us dinner reservations upon request and just a super friendly guy. Highly recommend!
Fantastic location. Flat, two-three minute walk from the Giglio ferry stop. Lift in hotel for luggage to our room. Breakfast was one of the better ones we have had on our extended Italy trip. Many amenities in room and snack upon arrival.
We asked for a fan for the room which we received. First night to see sleep through the night on our trip. The piazza that hotel property opened onto has a restaurant, amazing church façade and cool glass shop.
I really liked the room because it came with a balcony!! Best feature I'd say. It is in a great location. The room was clean and I liked the venetian style decor with the fabric wall covering and the bold patterns. I also liked the later check out time which is 11am compared to others that are earlier. The 24Hr front desk person is also nice to have, not every hotel offers this in Italy. The breakfast is nice and the staff ladies are so sweet.
The breakfast was the best one we had in italy , it is carried up in baskets together with juice coffee and fresh warm croissants and bread ! Amazing. Totally did not expect that at all. The staff is also extremely kind to us. We were allowed to stow our bag in the hotel so we could explore easier the last day. Which helped so much since venice is full of stairs and carrying bags can be troublesome. The bed was very soft as well.
I would stay I had best time of my life in Venice mainly because of this hotel. I stayed 5 nights and I was upgraded to Junior suit. The suit was spacious, tastefully decorated and was astonishingly cleaned 2 to 3 times a day without us knowing. The breakfast spread was big with vegan choices and delicious. Location is fabulous bang on Grand canal.
We like the location so close to train station. Everything in venice are within walking distances, so the further we have to walk is to the piazza san marco. Which the walk itself is a pleasant experience. In the morning breakfast room we can have coffee of choice and small packed bread which are common in italy. Also staff are all friendly
We booked a room with a view overlooking the Grand Canal and it was well worth the upgrade! This was our first trip to Italy and starting in Venice was so much fun. The hotel was everything we had hoped for and we look forward to recommending it to our friends. We hope to return to your beautiful hotel again. The staff were all amazing!
The location was excellent and easy to get around. Beds were the most comfortable we had in our month in Italy. The apartment was cozy and we felt like coming home when we returned each day. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. Highly recommended you book this apartment for your stay in Venice.
Great location, wonderful hotel breakfast was beyond what we expected, best one in three wok trip in Italy. First time that we did not have stale croissants. The hotel did upgrade us from a junior suite to a suite very nice. Also on first night there was a complimentary bottle of wine very appreciated.
The place is one of the best boutique hotels I have seen. Decoration was impecable, location out of the crowded area. Caterina and Roberto were amazing helping with everything. I have been several times in Venice and this is one of those lovely places that make you fall in love with the city.
best hotel in entire Italy trip
we went into our hotel room and found a broken toilet bowl seat and the team has upgraded our rooms to compensate us
room was very clean and it was very close to the shops
staff was very friendly
toilet is very spacious and amenities were plentiful
The location is very close to the bus and train station. The hotel is nicely decorated. Out of all the hotels we stayed in Italy this one had the most comfortable bed. The staff were amazing! They even prepared a box breakfast to take with us to catch a very early morning flight.
Amazing property . Very luxurious and spacious rooms , stunning ambience , historic look with amazing and elegant owner Luana - very helpful with everything and knows the best places in Venice for dinners and functions . Top boutique hotel apartment experience .
Location and hotel staff. The owner’s Father was absolutely wonderful - gave lots of great recommendations for my trip in Italy and also in Venice. The room was large, comfortablw and clean - perfect.
The location was nice, close to the bus/train station makes it easy for travelers. Also, breakfast spread was amazing, one of the best I’ve had in Italy hotels.
Beautiful and cozy hotel in the heart of Venice. Great location, breakfasts are a little meager, but these are the features of Italy..)) Perfect stuff!
