Podere Pradarolo is absolutely beautiful and their wines are incredible, if you like natural wines made with minimal intervention. The hosts were so kind, and the breakfast was delicious. So many homemade goodies. It’s not very close to major attractions, but that was fine for us as we were just looking for a beautiful place to relax. Parma is only about a 35 minute drive and we checked out the Dallara museum for formula 1 cars. It’s a little off the beaten track and only a few small villages close by, but we really enjoyed our stay and hope to return!

Located in the countryside, 2.5 mi from Varano de Melegari, Podere Pradarolo is a 15th-century villa with period interiors. It offers a furnished garden and terrace overlooking the vineyards, and classic rooms, some with exposed ceiling beams. Rooms at the Pradarolo B&B are spacious and offer views of Valle Ceno. All en suite, they come with original tiled floors and embroidered lace linen. The bathroom offers a hairdryer and free toiletries. A sweet Italian breakfast is provided daily, featuring homemade cakes, and organic jams, while wine tasting tours can be arranged by the owners, who produce their own wine. Guests enjoy free Wi-Fi in public areas. Fornovo Train Station is 8.7 mi away, as is the Fornovo A15 Motorway exit. A bus stop with links to Bardi and Parma is just in front of the B&B.
