Small Italian town.
Small Italian town. We have prior been further down the coast for 8 days, where it was much busiest. These were our last 2 days. We had chosen it because of the proximity of the airport. It was a perfect relaxing ending to our holiday.

My family is from Gizzeria so I am probably biased.
My family is from Gizzeria so I am probably biased. The area fairly unspoiled by tourism but there are still lots of restaurants in the area. Some of them are real gems, especially if you like authentic Italian foods and plenty of sea food. There are a few tourist activities, like quad bikes, but not that many. If you want great beaches, this is the place to go! Not a lot of shopping in the area and the nearest mall is probably 10 - 15 miles away. Relying on public transport is probably not a good idea. A hire car is a better option as they're available fairly cheaply. Some beautiful scenery, especially the mountains.

Most impressive was, they were very friendly and the place was wonderful. Less impressive, the breakfast was ok, but if I would improve something it was this, but I really have no complain. The scenery is wonderful!

We liked everything about this hotel, quiet,friendly and spotlessly clean. The restaurant serves only fish dishes which were sublime. It has a super wine list with many local wines from Lamezia. All the staff and owner couldn’t do enough to make us feel welcome especially Francesco in the restaurant who was patient and helpful when choosing the right wine for delicious meals. All in all a wonderful first experience in Calabria and would definitely return.MichaelGermany

Very comfortable beds, good Wifi. Loved the wood flooring and multiple balconies. All staff--housekeeping, breakfast room, front desk--were incredibly kind and helpful, immediately willing to fix any problem or answer questions. Lots of restaurants in the area.
