Beautiful quiet room in a fantastic location! Staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was a nice option. Could maybe have used one more pillow on each bed, but otherwise we were very comfortable and happy here! (We probably could have requested extra pillows - honestly didn't think of it at the time.)

Palazzo Galletti was a former noble mansion built for a wealthy and famous Florentine family and was transformed in a successful hotel de charme in 2004. This small and elegant boutique hotel combines a fantastic location with unique accommodations and the authenticity of an historic place. Residenza d'Epoca Palazzo Galletti is located on the 1st floor, also called "noble floor", where the family used to live originally. On entering the palazzo, a precious staircase made of pietra serena stone leads you to the Reception (no lift). Eleven rooms, four suites and seven superior rooms, embrace the central yard allowing quiet and private moments away from the busy streets of the centre. Most of them open onto lovely balconies perfect for enjoying a good glass of wine. Ground floor of the building, modern and luxurious spa facilities to pamper yourself with massage and body treatments and relax in the indoor pool and hamam. Palazzo Galletti offers discounts and a great variety of special packages and spa breaks. Check availability online on Booking! We are very fond of art in general, particularly Renaissance and Neoclassic art in Florence. We devoted ourselves to bring back to life the noble mansion of Palazzo Galletti and restore its former elegance. We love working with art experts and artists in the palazzo and periodically host painters and photographers' exhibition. We also love the country side and enjoy our time producing biological wine and olive oil from our farm and properties in the Chianti area.
Located in Florence's historic heart, Palazzo Galletti is only a 10-minute walk to the Duomo and the church of Santa Croce. All the main attactions and museums are walking distance from the Residenza, including Uffizi and Academy Galleries and San Lorenzo market. Our neighbourhood is renowned as the Theatre district and famous for the most important theatres in town, such as Teatro La Pergola and Teatro Verdi. It is a good area to find good restaurants, trattorias and pizzerias, offering typical and real Tuscan meals for reasonable prices. Yummy pasticcerias, in-expensive supermarkets and shops are close at hand. Our favourite places are definitely Osteria Natalino for a light lunch, and San Lorenzo market for some gourmet and slow food shopping.
