Very good location if spending extended time at the Vatican. Less than a 10 minute walk with direct side access. Also very close to a main road with many shops and restaurants. Although we did not use it, there is also subway access nearby. The property is on the 5th floor. Keep in mind European apartments count the first floor as floor 0. There was an elevator (small but can fit 2 people or 1 person with a large luggage). You do need to walk up one flight of stairs but they are very wide and easy to walk up.
