The location was a perfect central spot on the Amalfi coast to visit key places such as positano and ravello. We were always able to return at night to our quiet safe haven at Mena’s place in cefalu. Mena also went out of her way to offer fresh bakery items for breakfast every morning

Stella Maris is within walking distance of the village center, restaurants, cafes, grocery stores, and the beach. The apartment was clean and comfortable. The host was very kind, and she acted quickly to resolve issues. A major plus for me was the canarino, who lives above Stella Maris, singing his heart out on my last morning in Cetara.

Center of town, door faces the street so beware of cars when leaving. Great service they had a shuttle that dropped us off for two euro per person and a parking deck available for 20 euro a person. You also get free breakfast coupon.

CETARA is a cost-effective option for accommodation on the Amalfi Coast. However it is a very small fishing village and hence nothing much to do. We found that the quality of restaurants were not up to our expectations although the prices were very high.

Great location for exploring the Amalfi coast due to good Bus and ferry connections. Also not as crowded as other places on the Amalfi Coast, so great for going to the beach and to restaurants. Pompei, Vesuvius and Ercolano are also close enough to visit from Cetara on day trips.

Cetara is a little village, in an amazing mountain area.
Best for couples or families.
Easy to approach with bus or ferry, but need to be planed well as it is in the mountains and public transport can be delayed sometimes.

The apartment is very modern and the kitchen had everything you needed. The finishings were high quality and the place was spotless. The location is about 500m from the ferry up a gentle hill. It is located on the main street within walking distance to many great restaurants. The host was so accommodating and very helpful. He responded quickly and helped recommend a shuttle too. This is a fantastic place for a short visit to Cetara. The only downside was the place was a little closed in as there is no balcony and only a few small port size ( 2’x4’) windows. There is a bench right outside the door beside the common staircase leading up to other homes to get some fresh air. Cetara is a beautiful town with very kind welcoming people.

Cetara is a rather unknown city on the Amalfi coast.
Cetara is a rather unknown city on the Amalfi coast. It is known tor the seefood and rather relaxed atmosphere. It's just much more quiet and down to earth than Amalfi city or Positano, and I mean that in a good way. There is a small but nice beach, possibility to take a ferry along the Amalfi coast and several hiking possibilities for those who want to experience more than the sealife.
There are several good restaurants serving fresh local seafood. We had the impression that the tourists were mostly locals.

It was a lovely place to visit.
It was a lovely place to visit. Shopkeepers we’re friendly and helpful. Most people were friendly
Traffic was terrible spent walks dodging cars and mopeds
If you do not eat fish dishes main choice of food is pizza
No taxi service in Cetera
Anna was a wonderful host! She spoiled us with a wonderful breakfast - we didn't expect to eat so much - and also offered us some dry figs of her production. The room was very nice and clean and you can totally see the effort and passion that was put into running the b&b. The location was in the centre of Cetara with all restaurants, shops and the beach reachable within 10 mins walking. The parking service was very good and for a very honest price. Thanks for everything Anna we will definitely hope to come back!
The room I was in had a fantastic view of Cetara and the ocean. The owners were very kind and helpful. They replied easily and in English. The room was very clean, had lots of storage, and the bed was very comfortable. The owners were helpful and receptive when I had a travel emergency and needed to stay one more night. I really enjoyed the breakfast in the chocolate shop about 3 minutes away from the property. They have excellent brioche (croissants) that can be filled with things like local lemon marmalade.
Super cute little studio very close to the beach and in the middle of the town of Cetara! Super equipped with everything you need (kitchen, coffee, washer, toiletries, tv, air conditioning, clothes line). Host was very kind and responsive. Best value you can get on the Amalfi Coast (tip, you’ll probably find it much more pleasant to stay here than in Positano or the bigger towns anyway, far too crowded and this town actually has a local feel). Both ferry and bus are within 2 minutes walk!
Fantastic location in cetara, we were looking for an experience away from the crowds and this place and cetara exceeded our expectations. The place is up the hill and you can call a local company who operates a taxi service for 1 euro up and down the road to cetara town. The accommodation is lovely in the hills but 2 minute ride or 10 minute walk to town and coast. Cetara is on the less touristy side of amalfi with regular boats to amalfi. Fantastic place thank you
Great room in a perfectly located spot close to the centre of Cetara, with local amenities and restaurants near by. The room was clean and comfortable with everything we needed for a wonderful stay on the amalfi coast. Our host was great, Brilliant communication, very helpful and had great restaurant recommendations. Room was cleaned every few days which was a lovely touch. We would highly recommend!!

Cetara is a very small local fishing village. Most of the restaurants cater to locals. The vibe here is relaxing and chill.
This is the best base for us. Would love to re-visit here again.
The property has a good greenery view & a portion of the ocean.
The host Clelia is super attentive & suggested nice restaurants to us.
Very friendly mother and daughter are running this wonderful B&B which is in an excellent condition. Breakfast is served with the best home made pastry. The terrace is big and well equipped. Location is perfect (in a quiet area and far enough from the busy road). Would stay here again when in Cetara.
La Lanterna is located conveniently directly at the Statale Amalfitana, close to Cetara. From the terrace where we would take our breakfast, we had a stunning sea view. The owner and his friendly family made our stay exceptional - thanks a lot for all the help and tips provided by you.
The location is extraordinary, very close to the beach and marina. Cetara is an amazing place to stay if you want to stay away from the crowds and eat authentic delicious food. Carmen was always eager to help, whether to advise something or help with taxi. Absolutely recommend.
Our stay was perfect! We loved it!Olga was so helpful!Grazie mile💐😍😊We loved the small village of Cetara and the best place to eat is Pizzamare right next to the sea port!
Make sure u rent a car to experience the whole Amalfi coast😍
The place is nice and Cetara itself is a very beautiful small village. We had apartment with panoramic view and it was really spacious and clean. Antonietta is a really sweet woman and always ready to help and answer any questions.
