The location is amazing, just across the street from a very nice beach. Although there was not the possibility to have 3 people in a room or a connecting room, we were accomodated with rooms adjacent for our party of 2 adults and 1 child. The room decor was a bit faded but comfortable. The staff were mostly friendly, although we would have felt better if we spoke more Italian. The pool was small but nice, with towels provided and toilet and showers nearby. It was a comfortable stay in an excellent location if you want relative quiet. Anzio Colonia station is a short walk, and we were able to use the train to visit the more busy/urban area of Anzio.

Hotel Lido Garda is the official home of the Lions and Rotary Club Anzio-Nettuno. There is a lounge with cable TV, and parking is free in the surrounding area. Anzio is the site of the Allied Forces landing in January 1944. The city museum is dedicated to the event. In nearby Nettuno you can visit one of the world's largest American war cemeteries.
