A laid back and restful little town, particularly outside of July and August. Safe, quiet and everything you need is right there in walking distance. Near countless beaches starting at less than a five minute drive. Great restaurants, shops, all you need.

Good base for exploring South Sardinia.
Good base for exploring South Sardinia. The beach & sand dunes of Porto Pino is only 30 mins drive. At night there are a lot of places to explore in the city center. The underground village is a must visit.
Be sure to have dinner at Il Tamarindo, best restaurant in the island

A busy, bustling town, Sant’Antioco is great for couples and families alike. The main thoroughfare is closed to cars at 8 pm and restaurants and cafes distribute tables and chairs for evening meals, drinks and ice cream. Children play up and down the street safely, whilst the adults socialise, shops remain open until around 10 pm and there is a general feeling of safety and conviviality throughout the centre of town.
My main criticism is that there are very few options for those who don’t eat fish and don’t wish to eat pizza every night.
Overall, Sant’Antioco is a charming and friendly town, but time your visit carefully as, over the last couple of days, we noticed the gradual slowing and closing down of amenities at the end of the holiday tourist season.

We loved an island and the city of Sant' Antioco.
We loved an island and the city of Sant' Antioco. Great beaches, history and food. Friendly people, but aggressive drivers. They should work on that. We tourists get lost from time to time also with navigation on. At the times we don't need angry local drivers to frustrate us with their inappropriate attitude. They should learn from Sicilians, which are fast but cool drivers. 😉
My two daughters and me had a bedroom with three beds with everything we needed, very new, the location is great, close to the harbour, we even could find a parking slot for our car for free in front of the house, Lucia and her husband were so friendly. Sant Antioco is a very nice little town, with beautiful old houses, the island has some nice beaches with clear water. We can highly recommend the rooms.
Breakfast generous (apart from the machine only coffee !); location is not central but walking distance to the middle of town; parking wasn't an issue. Room was comfortable if a little tired; staff polite but not over the top. Unfortunately we were out of season so the restaurant wasn't open. The hotel is simple but functional and is accurately represented.
We had an excellent stay at Isola dei Mori. The hotel is secluded with a big garden in front of the room, nice and relaxing. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. There are several great beaches close by as well as several restaurants.
- the qualitative best bed we had in Sardinia
- great additional cosmetic items (in case you forgot something)
- Owner was able to speak in German which was a great add on for us.
- best breakfast you will get in an accommodation!!!
Warm welcome, really detailed overview of the Sant'Antioco island so we can find nice restaurants, points of view, beaches...
The room is really big, clean, with water and even a little welcome Myrto, a local liquor.
Very nice hotel. Our room had the view to the water. The bathroom war very nice and spacious. The breakfast was fresh and versatile, everyone could find something delicious for himself. Definitely a recommendation.
The most amazing host, Pietro is very helpful, supportive and kind.
Very generous.
Breakfast was unbelievable.
The bad was very comfortable.
It was without any doubt the best experience we had in Sardinia.
the location was very good for our trip as we kept moving around sardinia and wanted comfortable “base” places for not longer than 1-2 days, this accommodation was 100% convenient for that.
