Māori does not have much to offer apart from ferry and bus access to other areas. The hotel is not called the same anymore and is not easy to find despite asking locals. There is no signage at the moment. Eat away from the sea front as cheaper and better food.

Nice village for family vacations.
Nice village for family vacations. Convinient local transportation privided by local bus comany, but sometimes the buses are going out of the schedule. Nice gravel beach, but most of the palces ase not free, and cost could be significant. Not many places for intertainmets, no night life, but there are several several restaurants with decent food,

Public transport is not as simple as it seems.
Public transport is not as simple as it seems. However, you should definitely drive around the entire coast for the amazing views. Nice Erchie beach, clean blue water. It is not near the street and very cozy, secluded and calm. There are no sharp stones and rocks, only small round stones. Not deep, great fun for kids. Beautiful green mountains.

Great city to use as a base to visit Amalfi ,Positano and Ravello. Easy ferry or bus service to all.
Not to be confused with the cozy and quaint vertical towns of Amalfi/Positano. Maiori is bigger and busier with nice beach and less jammed with tourists.
The unit is very well situated, right across from Maiori Beach, one of the nicest sandy beaches on the Amalfi coast. It was a 5 minute walk to the ferry port, the bus station, grocery stores and a 15 minute walk to the neighboring town of Manori. The unit itself was modern, spotless and well equipped with two spacious balconies off the kitchen and the bedroom. The area was quiet and seemed safe at night. The host met us on time with the key and he was very friendly and responsive to questions and requests during our stay.
Casa blu cobalto is the best place you can stay on the Amalfi Coast! Carmen is truly the best host. She goes above and beyond to make you feel at home. The room and the bedroom are both clean as a whistle. She makes breakfast for her guests every morning. You can tell she cares for each and every one of her guests. We had to cancel a cooking class we had planned and she took two days out of our stay to show us how to make these signature Italian dishes. We will definitely be back to see Carmen at Casa Blu Cobalto!
II Giardino Dorato is a real hidden gem, away from all the hustle and bustle of the Amalfi coast. Our stay was just perfect owners so lovely and helpful. Huge bonus having a restaurant that serves amazing food on site. The hotel has been finished beautifully with homely touches and a lot of care and attention. If I was returning to this side of Italy I would definitely use this as a base to travel the area.
Beautiful property right on ocean overlooking boardwalk. We had a large balcony. Would highly recommend. The hotel is at the end of the boulevard in a beautiful setting. Public beach to the left and right in front restaurants and paid seatings. Stunning.
Absolutely loved it. Breakfast was breakfast lunch and dinner in one setting. Amazing choices freshness cleanliness. Loved it.
Everything at Montagnella was perfect! The room was beautiful and comfortable. The breakfast every morning was exceptional.. with stunning views. The staff was so welcoming and kind, Enzo made sure we were happy always and was such a fun guy to be around! I would rather stay here than anywhere else in the Amalfi coast.. Book here and you will have the most memorable trip!
The location is perfect! Across the steer from the beach and ver close to all of the shop, restaurants and bars. The property owners were waiting for us upon our arrival and we’re so kind and accommodating. The apartment is extremely well cared for and clean. Lots of room with all amenities. If you’re looking for a place to stay on the Amalfi coast, this is it!
Hotel has an excellent location and an spectacular view. All rooms have sea view and balcony which allows you to enjoy the night and early morning view, very romantically. It is located 5 min walking from Maiori dowtown close to restaurants, shops, pubs and public transportation. Very easy to access other cities from the Amalfi Coast. I highly recommend it.
Francesco the owner is a sweetheart always ready to help and accomodate! He even booked me a ride to the airport at 3 am to catch my flight! The view from the balcony is gorgeous! Catching the sunset was one of my favorite things. Also the restaurant downstairs is amazing and the pizzas were the best we ever had (and we’ve traveled Italy a lot!)
It was a lovely apartment with all the amenities, located pretty close to the beach and the restaurant area in Maiori. The bus running on the Amalfi coast has a stop at 2 minutes walk from the hotel, very convenient. The owner was very nice and she gave us, upon request, a room with a sea view. A genuine Italian experience, overall.
Amazing location & views which are 100% worth the steps. The hotel and facilities were always very clean and beds so comfortable. Antonio was a great host, and nothing was too much trouble, going out of his way to ensure we were catered for. Breakfasts were also great, exactly what you need before a long day on the Amalfi coast.
Very clean and close to the beach, as well as close to the SITA bus stop to visit the other towns on the Amalfi Coast. Breakfast is at Tony’s cafe across the street and was very good. The host Maria was very helpful and kind. Maiori is less crowded than Amalfi and Positano, and has a nice family atmosphere.
the location of the hotel is the best, just across the beach, a few minutes walk to the ferry and restaurants. Although there is not much to do in Maiori, it is easy to take a ferry to the other beautiful coastal towns from there. The rooms were clean enough. And, the breakfast was avarage.
Amazing setting! Nestled in a cliffside, this hotel is truly one of a kind. It is small, but the staff are so helpful and friendly. They provide shuttle services into Maiori and connections for parking in town and accessing the beach. The breakfast was lovely. Overall, a wonderful stay!
La casa D’a…mare serves the best breakfast in the whole Amalfi coast. The manager is extremely well organised and even sold us bus tickets so that we did not need to go out and buy tickets. He was a hotel manager in a previous life and it shows in the way he manages the establishment
Everybody is super nice at the hotel, with a good breakfast and walking distance to everywhere. I would totally recommend staying in Maiori at the Amalfi coast and taking day trips to Positano, Capri, etc. Two beautiful hiking trails under the lemon trees to Revello.
The terrace is absolutely gorgeous at any time of day or night. Lemon trees give shadow and make one feel that it is Amalfi coast! Beach is only steps away and city center can be reached in 8-10 minutes. Many restaurants and shops are open until late at night.
some 3 minutes from the center bus stop, close to shops, city center and beach. we were in appartment on 2nd floor, spaceous with big kitchen, AC, washing machine and good bathroom. good option on the Amalfi coast for OK price…
Great location, near bus stops to other Amalfi Coast towns. Lots of restaurants and such nearby. Maiori itself is beautiful and you could definitely have some nice beach time and hikes right there.
Also, Wi-Fi was very good.
The property is amazing, plenty of room for us as we were just 3 persons. The view is spectacular, is everything you need for this kind of trip. Maiori is the best place to stay in Amalfi coast.
The staff is awesome, the hotel is gorgeous and very clean. All of the room have a beautiful view of the Amalfi coast. And all things considered was very reasonably priced.
