Our B&B, "IL PICCOLO PRINCIPE" welcomes you to romantic, historical Serravalle, one of the two ancient districts of Vittorio Veneto. The XVI° century building looks onto the centuries-old Via Caprera, once home to workshops, craftsmen and "osterie" (typical pubs of the Veneto area). Today, thanks to its active community, Via Caprera is rediscovering its old charm holding several events throughout the year.
Vittorio Veneto is composed of two beautiful historical centres: Ceneda has a beautiful XVI century cathedral and the recently restored "Museo della Battaglia" (war museum). Serravalle lived under the Venetian Republic its best splendour as can be seen by the elegant buildings Palazzo Minucci and Museo del Cenedese as well as squares such as Piazza Flaminio. Don’t miss the chance to practice outdoor activities, whether you plan to stay in the city or want to discover the surroundings: starting from the center of Serravalle you can easily reach the Santa Augusta’s Sanctuary, which is a nice up-hill walk and you will enjoy an amazing view of the town.Only 20 km away the Foresta del Cansiglio is the second largest Italian forest where you can play golf, go hiking in an uncontaminated environment or even do cross-country skiing. Last but not least: we are surrounded by hills and mountains suitable both for mountain-bikers and climbers. There are also several lakes in the area which windsurfers and kitesurfers can also enjoy. Those who like to walk can admire villages, churches, and villas immersed in nature. And Vittorio Veneto is just an hour away from both Venice and Cortina!
